00:00big matchup of the day. Commanders versus the Ravens. I feel like I want to call this
00:08a shootout. Daniel's closing 269 passing yards, two touchdowns, Lamar Jackson, 323 passing
00:15yards, one touchdown, one interception, big ground game from Henry, but who's surprised
00:19by that and a potential, a really hard fought fourth quarter rally by the commanders, but
00:25a little too little, a little too late. What did we like and see in this matchup?
00:29Oh, this had it all, but this is the game that we spoke about, like kind of being the
00:33game of the week and the Ravens did their thing on the ground. Zay Flowers 9, 132, nine
00:40catches, 132 yards. Obviously those are both career highs for him, which he had both of
00:44which in the first half. This is awesome, but the commanders, you had to come away with
00:49a loss. It's a tough loss, but the Ravens are a good team. We've kind of been saying
00:52like the Ravens, you know, took some time to get going over the first two weeks with
00:55their two losses, but they've been building to this spot. Never doubted the Ravens at
00:58any point. We knew they were going to finally round into form, really good stuff for the
01:03commanders. And I got to say, you know, we got to remember that the commanders weren't
01:06playing, they were playing without Brian Robinson, their star running back. So really good stuff
01:10overall, like seeing the fact that Austin Eckler 9 of 21 on the ground, obviously not
01:15doing much on the ground there. Daniels does this thing, but Daniels can't be leading the
01:19team when it comes to rushing. Like they need to have that duo between Robinson and Eckler.
01:23They got everyone involved in the passing game. You know, McLaurin didn't have the most
01:26shards at only 53, but he did have the two touchdowns. Really good stuff from Zach Urch,
01:30who's someone I spoke about on the noon show that I do here on SportsGrid. So good stuff.
01:35I don't have any doubts about Jaden Daniels moving forward. This is just a blip on the
01:39radar. I think it's all systems go still.
01:42Yeah, it seems like Joe Lisi was actually onto something when it came to putting all
01:46the trust and chips on Jaden Daniels. And you mentioned it. I mean, he had not only
01:51269 passing yards, but 22 yards on the ground. But that's through six carries. Do the math
01:56on that one, y'all. But Urch, you know, I love to see any kind of action from that group
02:01of a football squad. But let's kind of touch on the fact that I'm almost positive you called
02:05a big game for Save Flowers. Am I right? Or am I making that one up?
02:10I did. I spoke about him saying, like, you know, we saw what Jamar Chase did to the commanders
02:15three weeks ago at this point, I can't remember. But this is their deficiency, and it's on
02:22defense, right? Great offense, they're moving things, but they're getting into these shootouts.
02:25And then, you know, so far, they've been on the right side of the coin where Jaden Daniels
02:29makes plays and they come away with wins. Now they faced a really good Ravens team with
02:33a lot of offensive options. Derrick Henry doing his thing. I said Save Flowers are going to
02:37be in for a big game because the secondary for Washington is so bad. And lo and behold,
02:41that's what we got.
02:43Yeah, that's true. But it was still a good call, especially because sometimes it's hard
02:47to temper those games that Save Flowers is going to be able to come away with.
