00:00It's been less than a month since Hurricane Helene ripped through North Carolina,
00:03and the recovery is only just beginning. However, the 2024 US presidential election
00:09is less than a month away, and Kamala Harris was in the state to both provide support and rally
00:14voters. And our hearts, I know all of us and our prayers go out to everyone who's been impacted by
00:20these storms. I have spoken to both state and local officials, both Republican and Democrat
00:27to let them know we will be with you every step of the way as you recover.
00:35Harris spoke to what was an estimated 7,000 people who were in attendance.
00:39Right now, North Carolina is among seven swing states where Harris and Trump are neck and neck,
00:44seven states that will no doubt determine the winner of the election at large, which is why
00:49the vice president not only told the crowd why she's the right choice, but also explained why
00:53her opponent was the wrong one. She first accused Donald Trump of not being transparent with voters
00:58by not sharing his medical records, not appearing in the traditional 60 Minutes interview,
01:03and refusing to face off with her in a second debate.
01:06It makes you wonder why does his staff want him to hide away?
01:11One last question. One last question. Are they afraid that people will see
01:21that he is too weak and unstable?
01:29Is that what's going on?
01:33The 2024 presidential election will take place on Tuesday, November 5th.
