00:00I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
00:06In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:12O Seen
00:17By the Wise Qur'an
00:22Verily, you are of the Messengers
00:27On a straight path
00:33A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful
00:38That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and they are heedless
00:52Verily, the Word has come into effect on most of them, but they do not believe
01:01Verily, We have placed shackles around their necks, so that they are at their throats, and they are in a state of confusion
01:16And We have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them, so that they do not see
01:31And it is the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe
01:43Verily, you warn only those who follow the Reminder and fear the Most Merciful unseen
01:54So give him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward
02:02Verily, it is We who give life to the dead and record what they have put forth and their footsteps
02:10And everything We have enumerated in a clear belief
02:20And set forth for them an example of the people of the city, when the messengers came to it
02:34When We sent to them two, but they denied them, so We strengthened with a third, and they said,
02:46Indeed, We are to you messengers
02:54They said, You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not sent down anything. You are but lying
03:14They said, Our Lord knows that we are to you messengers
03:24And we are not responsible except for the clear notification
03:31They said, Indeed, we have taken leave of you, but if you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and a painful punishment will surely touch you from us
03:51They said, Your bird is with you, if you are reminded
04:02Rather, you are a transgressing people
04:09And there came from the farthest part of the city a man running. He said, O my people, follow the messengers. Follow those who do not ask you for a reward while they are guided
04:28And why should I not worship the One who created me, and to Him you will be returned
04:36Should I take besides Him gods, if the Most Merciful intends for me a harm that will not avail me their intercession at all and they will not save me
04:56Indeed, I will be in clear error. Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen
05:13It was said, Enter Paradise. He said, O I wish my people knew
05:22What my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored
05:29And We did not send down upon his people after him any host from the sky, and We were not sent down
05:49It was not but a single cry, and at once they were silent
05:59O regret for the servants! There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him
06:13Did they not see how many generations We destroyed before them, that to them they will not return
06:25And indeed, all of them will be brought before Us
06:33And a sign for them is the dead earth. We gave life to it and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat
06:47And We placed therein gardens of date palms and grapevines, and We caused therein to burst forth springs
07:03That they may eat of its fruit, and that which their hands have made. Will they not then be grateful
07:13Exalted is He who created the stars, all of them from that which the earth produces, and from themselves, and from that which they do not know
07:30And a sign for them is the night. We bring forth from it the daybreak, and at once they are oppressed
07:40And the sun runs to its place of rest. That is the decree of the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing
07:51And the moon, We have determined its places of rest until it returns to you, the old crescent
08:00The sun does not need to reach the moon, nor does the night precede the day, and each is in an orbit swimming
08:20And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the loaded ship
08:30And We created for them from the like of it that they may ride
08:38And if We will, We can drown them, so there is no sound for them, nor can they escape
08:49Except as a mercy from Us and an enjoyment for a while
08:57And when it is said to them, fear that which is before you and that which is behind you, that you may receive mercy
09:07And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away from them
09:20And when it is said to them, spend from what Allah has provided for you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe
09:32Are we to feed those whom Allah would have willed? Would He feed them if you were not in manifest error?
09:55And they say, when is this promise, if you are truthful?
10:03They do not wait except for one blast which will seize them and they will fall
10:15And they will not be able to make a command, nor will they return to their people
10:26And it will be blown into the Horn, and at once they will descend from the graves to their Lord
10:36They will say, O woe to us! Who has raised us from our bed? This is what the Most Merciful promised, and the Messengers spoke the truth
10:52It will be but one blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us
11:04So this Day no soul will be wronged in the least, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do
11:16Indeed, the companions of Paradise today are in a fruitful occupation
11:25They and their spouses are in shades on couches, reclining
11:35They will have therein fruit, and they will have what they desire
11:43Peace is a word from the Merciful Lord
11:51And excel today, O you who are criminals
11:57Have I not committed to you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Satan? Indeed, he is to you a manifest enemy
12:14And that you worship me, this is a straight path
12:21And indeed, he has led many of you astray. Will you not, then, use your reason?
12:32This is Hell, which you were promised
12:40Enter it today, because you used to disbelieve
12:47This Day We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to what they used to earn
13:04And if We willed, We could have wiped over their eyes, but they rushed to the path, so how could they see?
13:19And if We willed, We could have wiped them over their place, but they could not pass or return
13:33And whosoever We cause to do it, We cause him to return in creation. Will they not then understand?
13:45And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it necessary for him. It is but a reminder and a clear Qur'an
13:59That He may warn those who are alive, and that the word may be justified against the disbelievers
14:09Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made cattle, so they are its owners
14:25And We have made it low for them, so from it they ride, and from it they eat
14:34And for them therein are benefits and drinks. Will they not then be grateful?
14:43And they have taken besides Allah gods that they may be helped
14:52They will not be able to help them, and they will have armies brought forward
15:02So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare
15:14Do they not see that We have created man from a sperm, and behold, he is a clear adversary
15:29And he presents to Us an example, but he forgets his own creation. He says, Who will give life to bones while they are dust?
15:40Say, He will give life to it who created it the first time, and He is Knowing of every creation
15:55Who made for you from the green tree a fire, and when you light from it
16:12Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create like them?
16:24Yes, and He is the All-Knowing Creator
16:29His command is only, when He intends a thing, to say to it, Be, and it is
16:45So exalted is He in Whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be returned
16:58God Almighty has spoken the truth
