00:00The Office of the Ombudsman has dismissed the administrative cases against the former Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.

00:08This is in line with the illegal transfer of P41 billion from the DOH to the Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management or PSDBM

00:20for the purchase of medical supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

00:26According to the Ombudsman, Duque will not face the highest punishment of leaving the public office because he is no longer in a position in the government.

00:36But Duque is still facing a case of grafts as well as a questionable fund transfer.

00:42But he said earlier that he has no basis for the case and he believes that he can prove his innocence in Sandigan Bayad.
