00:00Work to build a new super tip on derelict land in Aldridge is well underway.

00:18Walsall Council is building the new Household Waste Recycling Centre off Middlemoor Lane.

00:36The centre will have a capacity of 40,000 tonnes a year, while the waste transfer station,

00:41where waste is sorted, will have a 125,000-tonne capacity.

01:08Once the new development is built, the existing Aldridge tip, on Merchants Way, will be closed.
