00:09which has gone viral on social media following Saturday night's show.

00:12The clip shows the 52-year-old opera singer putting his hand around the 35-year-old dancer's

00:17waist. His hand appears to be placed quite low on her stomach. She can be seen putting

00:20her hand on top of his and moving it back. A few moments before this Katya can be seen

00:25rejecting Wyn's high five. Her face appears to change from a scowl to a smile as she turns

00:29to face the camera. Naturally fans have started to speculate about what's gone on.

00:33Both Katya and Wyn have addressed the hand incident on social media brushing it off

00:37as a silly joke.

00:38We just wanted to say we were just messing around in the auditorium on Saturday night

00:43and want to say sorry. It was a silly joke.

00:46Yeah sorry.

00:47Even the idea that it made me feel uncomfortable or offended me in any way

00:53is complete nonsense. It's quite absurd actually.

00:56The incident comes at a bad time for Strictly. The show has been subject to numerous allegations

01:00of bullying, harassment and abuse against multiple professional dancers in the past

01:04year. The BBC recently apologised to Amanda Abbington over complaints she made about her

01:08partner Giovanni Peniche during her stint on the show in 2023.
