00:00So we've got our young ladies going through several rotations focused on social media
00:09savviness, safety, and some of the skills that they would need to be successful on social
00:14media, financial savviness to understand how to manage the money that they make.
00:20And then we've got our wonderful Pulse doctors here from our Pulse panel.
00:24So we have our dermatologist, Dr. Clay here to talk about skin health and wellness.
00:28And then we have our OBGYN, Dr. White here to talk about female anatomy and the reproductive
00:34system and how to be well.
00:35So we want to destigmatize the topics and the subjects that tend to be taboo and not
00:40talked about.
00:41It's really important to me that the products that we make at Honeypot, the service that
00:47we offer through education, through connection, the whole point of it is for it to be able
00:52to help humanity.
00:54So I'm grateful because that's the whole reason why we do what we do.
00:58Man, why was it so important for me to bring my daughter here?
01:02This event really, at 13, y'all know 13 middle school can be very tricky and trying.
01:10And so when I read that this was about, you know, flow and glow and mental health and
01:14wellness and financially, being financially savvy, I thought, wow, a community event that's
01:20helping, partnering with me to help my daughter become the best version of herself.
01:24Being a Spelman alum and being able to come back to my alma mater to bring my daughter
01:29in, in a community with corporate partners like Honeypot and the WNBA is really just
01:36a win-win and a dream for me.
01:38It's so important for me because when I was coming up, when I was growing up, I didn't
01:42see that.
01:43I didn't see women who look like me in positions of power and influence.
01:48And so I wanted to make sure that the next generation had that for themselves as well.
01:51I wanted to make sure that they can see a founder of a company and coming and talking
01:56to them on their level, wanted them to see our entire staff here, just giving back to
02:00the community and helping them to understand that those things are extremely important
02:03for the future of our country.
02:05I mean, social media is a place where there's a lot of opportunities that can grow and foster.
02:11And I feel like students now need to have that information to know how they can get
02:15to the bag, how they can grow their own brands and how they can actually learn to monetize
02:20some of the content that they're creating online.
02:22I would definitely say create from a place of passion.
02:26Do it because you love it first and the money will follow.
