मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त राजीव कुमार ने आज महाराष्ट्र और झारखंड विधानसभा चुनाव के शेड्यूल का ऐलान कर दिया है। इस दौरान उन्होंने ईवीएम पर उठ रहे सवालों पर प्रतिक्रिया दी। उन्होंने कहा, "लोग पूछते हैं कि जब पेजर से उड़ा देते हैं तो ईवीएम को कैसे हैक नहीं कर सकते हैं। पेजर कनेक्टेड होता है, ईवीएम कनेक्टेड नहीं होती। 2 बातें मोटी-मोटी मैं आपको बता देता हूं। 5-6 महीने पहले ईवीएम की एफएलसी यानी फर्स्ट लेवल चेकिंग होती है। हमारे पास ईवीएम की 20 शिकायतें आई हैं। हम हर शिकायत का अलग जवाब देंगे... तथ्य दर तथ्य...। अगर उम्मीदवार ये पूछ रहे हैं तो ये हमारी कर्तव्य है, हम उन्हें जल्द बताएंगे और लिखकर बताएंगे...।"
