00:20APPLAUSE
00:31Hello, everybody. Welcome to Countdown this Tuesday afternoon.
00:35You're more than welcome.
00:36Hopefully we will warm up a cold January day for you.
00:3915 rounds of letters and numbers, two more champion of champions,
00:43hoping to put in a champions' performance.
00:45Rachel, on the subject of performances, on this day in 2006,
00:49your favourite album was released, the High School Musical soundtrack.
00:55How well you know me.
00:57Listen, we're both too old, I can rarely say that.
00:59We're both too old for High School Musical.
01:01But what about your school performance?
01:03We all either have a great memory or a traumatic memory
01:06from performing at school.
01:08Well, I was always unnamed child, you know, give her a part,
01:11give her a T-shirt, sit in the back, don't say anything.
01:14And I nailed it.
01:15Yeah, I'm similar, no starring roles.
01:18When we did Joseph, I was a brother.
01:20And randomly, we decided when we were like ten,
01:23it wasn't even a school project, eight of us, four girls and four boys,
01:27decided to put on in front of the school a production of Grease.
01:30Oh, perfect.
01:32I played Rizzo brilliantly, by the way.
01:34Don't you worry about that, I'm a pink lady at heart.
01:37Definitely.
01:38Well, listen, let's head over to Dictionary Corner
01:40because she's finding her voice again after a bout of laryngitis.
01:44It's Susie Dent, and always in the finest of voices,
01:48putting us all to shame.
01:49It's Heather Small!
01:54And if you want two spectacular Countdown contestants,
01:57then don't look any further than Steve Hyde and Dan Barham.
02:01Steve Hyde, we're going to have a little chat with you first
02:03because there's something unique about every contestant.
02:05We have one for Champion of Champions.
02:07But you're the only one who's written a book inspired by Countdown.
02:10I want to hear all about it.
02:11As far as I know, yeah.
02:13Yeah, so the book is called A is for Aileron.
02:16It's written in the style of a sort of classic children's rhyming A-Z book,
02:21but all the words are words that you only ever see on Countdown.
02:24Yes.
02:25What's your favourite word in the whole book?
02:27Oh, in the whole book...
02:29..it'd probably have to be Godisha.
02:31Yeah, always comes up, that's always a good one.
02:33Well, you've inspired me after spending some time behind the scenes.
02:36I'm going to write a tell-all book about Countdown.
02:39It's called The Real Life of Riley, A Dent in History.
02:42And it's going to be shockwaves when that comes out,
02:45when people find out.
02:46Best of luck to you today.
02:47You're up against Dan Barham,
02:49and he's another class of Series 85 alumni,
02:52so a lot of familiar faces about today.
02:55But music is your passion,
02:57and you could probably right now,
02:59if we give you a studio and all the instruments,
03:01record Heather Small's greatest hits,
03:03because you play so many instruments.
03:05Run through them all for me.
03:07Well, I mean, my main instrument's the keyboard.
03:10Also, I play clarinet, saxophone and do African drumming,
03:14which is something I've done since I was little.
03:16And what's your fee? 400 quid a day?
03:18Heather, 400 quid a day.
03:20Save you a fortune for the next album.
03:22Brilliant, love it. Good luck, Steve and Dan.
03:27Every day has been breathtaking, and I expect the same today,
03:30so let's get started. Steve, your letters.
03:32I'll start with a consonant, please, Rachel.
03:34Thank you, Steve. Start today with N.
03:37And another.
03:39L. And another.
03:42T. Then a vowel, please.
03:45E. Another vowel.
03:47O. Another vowel.
03:51A. Another vowel.
03:54I. A consonant.
03:58H. And another consonant, please.
04:01Not a bad start. A final.
04:03S. At all men in the studio, let's play Countdown.
04:28It's a suspicious amount of smiling going on during that from Steve and Dan.
04:40Steve, how many? Nine.
04:42And Dan? Nine as well.
04:44Let's have it, Steve. Hailstone.
04:46Love it. And Dan? Yeah, Hailstone as well.
04:48Hailstone as well. What a start to the show. 18 points, Steve.
04:54Righty-o. What a start, Heather?
04:56Nothing we can really add much, is there? No, exactly the same thing.
04:59You got the nine.
05:01Yeah, what made me laugh was just how quickly they got it.
05:03Yeah, that's so true. Right, it was a couple of seconds in.
05:06Oh, this old word again.
05:08Right, 18 points each. What a start.
05:11Let's get more letters from Dan.
05:13Good afternoon, Rachel. Afternoon, Dan.
05:15Could I start with a consonant, please?
05:17You could indeed start with G.
05:19And another.
05:21L.
05:23And another.
05:25D.
05:27And another consonant.
05:29P.
05:31And a vowel.
05:33A.
05:35And another vowel.
05:37U.
05:39And another.
05:41I.
05:43And another vowel.
05:45E.
05:47And a consonant, please.
05:49Lastly, B.
05:5130 seconds.
05:55MUSIC CONTINUES
05:57MUSIC CONTINUES
06:22Well, after that start, Dan, what are you following it up with?
06:25Seven. And Steve?
06:27Seven as well. Yeah, Dan?
06:29Plagued. Yeah, Steve?
06:31Plagued. There you go.
06:33Plague sounds just about the best there is.
06:35Let's find out and cross over to Susie and Heather.
06:37We have guideable for... Eight?
06:39Eight. Wow, there you go.
06:41Guideable was there for eight.
06:43So there's always room for a little bit of improvement.
06:46Quarter century each and we've only had two rounds.
06:48Let's get our first numbers. Steve?
06:50Can I have an inverted T, please, Rachel?
06:52You can indeed. Thank you, Steve.
06:54One from the top and five, little one,
06:56and a potentially gentle start.
06:58Let's find out if it is.
07:00The numbers are 2, 5, 2, 7, 9, 75.
07:07The target to reach, 974.
07:10974. Numbers up.
07:12MUSIC PLAYS
07:24MUSIC CONTINUES
07:42OK, that is time. Steve?
07:44Just 975. One away. Dan?
07:46Also just 975. Steve, let's get one away.
07:49OK, 9 plus 5.
07:519 plus 5, 14.
07:53Take away 2 divided by 2.
07:55Take away 2 over 2 for 1 for 13.
07:57And multiply by the 75.
07:59Gets you to one away. Well done.
08:01Yeah, the 1375. So how did you manage to get that, Dan?
08:04I got the 13 doing 5 minus 2 is 3,
08:08and then 9 plus 7 minus 3.
08:11Then 9 plus 7 minus 3 is your 13 for the same result.
08:14One away again.
08:16Can we get the 974?
08:19We've got to do one.
08:21If you say 7 times 5 is 35,
08:25add it to 75 for 110.
08:28Take away the 2 for 100...
08:31Sorry, 108.
08:33Times that by 9 for 972,
08:36with the remaining 2.
08:38Yes. 974.
08:40APPLAUSE
08:42Brilliant. Got one over on me. Great to see.
08:44Let's get our first tea time teaser of the day.
08:47And it's ten dimes.
08:49Ten dimes.
08:51It appears when you leave the port.
08:53It appears when you leave the port.
09:10Welcome back, everybody.
09:12Ten dimes becomes sediment,
09:14because the port was nothing to do with nautical terms.
09:17It's a drink, it appears, when you leave the port.
09:20The champagne on ice for Steve and Dan.
09:22We have no idea at this stage who's going to be popping their cork.
09:25It's 32 points each, so let's get on with it.
09:27Dan, letters, my friend.
09:29Could I start with a consonant, please?
09:31Thank you, Dan. N.
09:33And another?
09:35X.
09:37And another?
09:39S.
09:41And a consonant?
09:43T.
09:45A.
09:47And another vowel?
09:49E.
09:51And another?
09:53U.
09:55And another?
09:57E.
09:59And a final consonant, please?
10:02A final R.
10:04Thanks, Rich.
10:15MUSIC PLAYS
10:35That's your lot, Dan.
10:37Seven. Steve? Seven.
10:39Yeah, and what have you got?
10:41Neuters. Neuters. And Steve?
10:43Oh, one of my favourite countdown words.
10:45What have we got, Heather Small? We have austere.
10:47Yeah, that's a nicer word.
10:49Thank you for that.
10:51But it counts. 39 points all.
10:53Will we separate them at any stage?
10:55Well, we have to. Let's get another round of letters.
10:57Steve?
10:59I'll start with a consonant, please. Thank you, Steve.
11:01C. And another?
11:03N.
11:05And another?
11:07F. And a vowel?
11:09I.
11:11And another vowel? O.
11:13And another vowel?
11:15E.
11:17A consonant? M.
11:19A consonant?
11:21S.
11:23And one final vowel, please?
11:25And a final U.
11:27Here we go.
11:29MUSIC PLAYS
11:41MUSIC CONTINUES
11:59How did you get on, Mr Hyde?
12:01Seven. Mr Byron?
12:03Yeah, I think seven as well. Steve?
12:05Commies. Dan?
12:07Yeah, I'll go commies as well.
12:09Let me wave the red flag over to Dexter McCoy.
12:11Very good. Anything else?
12:13Yeah, lowercase c, that was the crucial thing with that one,
12:15so it's absolutely fine.
12:17We had musico for six.
12:19Are you a musico? I don't know the definition, are you?
12:21I would say no,
12:23but I'm not too sure.
12:25Oh, I'd say definitely no,
12:27because it's a castrato,
12:29so a male singer who is castrated
12:31in order to keep the high voice.
12:33Yeah, that's a no.
12:35Moving on!
12:37More numbers now. Dan?
12:39Can I have too large, please?
12:41You can indeed. You're both playing the cautious game.
12:43Too large, four little,
12:45no risks just yet.
12:47And these four little ones are
12:49three, two, seven,
12:51and seven, and the big one,
12:5350 and 25, and your target.
12:55462.
12:57462. Numbers up.
12:59MUSIC PLAYS
13:07MUSIC CONTINUES
13:29462, the target. Dan?
13:31Just 461, not written down.
13:33One away, Steve. 464.
13:35Two away, so, Dan,
13:37off you go. Seven plus three is ten.
13:39Seven plus three is ten.
13:41Times by the 50.
13:43Times by the 5,500.
13:45Take away the 25. 475.
13:47And then seven times two is 14.
13:49And the second seven.
13:51Seven points for you,
13:53so that's the first gap that we've had today.
13:55And another chance for Rachel to make
13:57a back-to-back target. What are you saying to me, Riley?
13:59I think this is the pressure that's got to the boys,
14:01because this one's divisible by seven.
14:03If you say 25 plus 50
14:05is 75.
14:07Seven plus two is nine.
14:09Take that away for 66 and times it
14:11by the second seven. Very good.
14:13APPLAUSE
14:15Very good.
14:1753 plus 46, as we get to chat again
14:19with the brilliant Heather Small.
14:21Now, I always think
14:23there are questions that you get asked a lot,
14:25and I'm going to ask one now, but I don't care,
14:27because I really want to ask it.
14:29Over all the decades, you've rubbed shoulders
14:31with so many contemporaries
14:33and greats in music.
14:35You might just have met them, or you might have recorded
14:37with them. Can you give us a couple of examples?
14:39Yes, I would.
14:41I sung with Sting for
14:43the first year that they did
14:45the Brits duets, so that
14:47was amazing. He just
14:49had this
14:51awe of good health.
14:53He was real fun.
14:55Tom Jones, I did a
14:57single with Tom Jones, and
14:59he was amazing.
15:01He's just got the most amazing voice.
15:03We went over to Germany to do a
15:05TV show, and it
15:07was magical, absolutely magical.
15:09I managed to drag him out to one of the clubs
15:11later in the evening.
15:13They had us roped off, the two of us
15:15together, and he said to me,
15:17you know, I don't like this rope. Should we go in with the rest?
15:19And we did. We just spent the night dancing,
15:21and he was singing to me, and I was singing to him,
15:23so that's one of my all-time
15:25favourite memories. That's brilliant.
15:27Did you just, like, randomly bump into
15:29a legend? Oh, yeah, Beyoncé.
15:31Before she was the legend that we know,
15:33I was in
15:35Amsterdam, and I was with a
15:37friend, and we were dragging
15:39this suitcase into the lift,
15:41and this young lady just randomly
15:43helped us. When we looked, it
15:45was Beyoncé. Yeah, so she's a sweet
15:47lady as well. From back in the day, she
15:49was a good girl. Did she say,
15:51have you had her spot? No,
15:53she didn't. She just helped us with the suitcase,
15:55and I was grateful. Wow.
15:57Brilliant. Thank you.
15:59APPLAUSE
16:01Love it.
16:03Absolutely love it. Let's get more
16:05letters. Steve, it's on you.
16:07I'll start with a consonant, please.
16:09Thank you, Steve. T.
16:11And another.
16:13S. And another.
16:15G.
16:17One more consonant.
16:19L. And a vowel, please.
16:21I.
16:23Another vowel. A.
16:25Another vowel.
16:27E.
16:29A consonant.
16:31Z.
16:33And one more consonant,
16:35please. Lastly, T.
16:37OK, eyes down.
16:53MUSIC PLAYS
17:09OK, Steve.
17:11Stick with seven. Done.
17:13I'll go for an eight. The seven is...
17:15Ligates.
17:17Ligates. The it...
17:19Lettigas. Let's go straight to
17:21Are you spelling that?
17:23L-E-T-T-I-G-A-S.
17:25Yes, lettiga. Excellent.
17:27In Sicily, a lettiga is a kind of
17:29sedan chair in which two people sit
17:31facing each other. Sounds wonderful.
17:33APPLAUSE
17:37It's taking a chance on me. I'm the laziest,
17:39but then I thought better. So let's move on to the next round.
17:41Dan, it's your letters.
17:43Can I start with a consonant, please?
17:45Thank you, Dan. N.
17:47And a consonant.
17:49W.
17:51And another. N.
17:53And another.
17:55B.
17:57And a vowel.
17:59A.
18:01And another. I.
18:03And another.
18:05E.
18:07And another.
18:09U.
18:11And a consonant,
18:13please. Lastly, Q.
18:15Half a minute.
18:17MUSIC
18:47Wow, Dan.
18:49I'll try a six.
18:51Steve?
18:53I've got nothing at all. Sorry.
18:55Well, nothing at all is definitely not in there.
18:57Dan, what is a six?
18:59I think this might equal nothing at all, but I'll go for Nubian.
19:01Oh.
19:03It is in there, relating to
19:05Nubia, its people, but it's got a
19:07capital N, so it's a problem, I'm afraid.
19:09Oh.
19:11I feel I was a little cruel.
19:13I'm Nubian. It is in there.
19:15Sorry. Well, it's not. I could tell from the tone
19:17that I knew what was coming.
19:19So, anything at all
19:21from three and above, what have you got?
19:23Inane.
19:25Inane will give you a five, yeah.
19:27Really tricky.
19:29Let's go to the numbers, because you're finding the letters
19:31really difficult, guys, so let's do that.
19:33And, Steve, let's get six.
19:35I'll have one from the top and any other five, please.
19:37You're still not gambling?
19:39Banking on the conundrum? No, just delighted to be here.
19:41I think he's playing you.
19:43Don't be worried, Dan. Right, five little ones.
19:45Eight, one, ten,
19:47six,
19:49five, and a large one, 25.
19:51And the target?
19:53826. 826, numbers up.
20:13MUSIC PLAYS
20:25That's time.
20:27826. Steve?
20:29824, not written down.
20:31OK, two away, not written down. Dan?
20:33825, not written down.
20:35Off you go, because that's closer.
20:37Ten minus six is four.
20:39Ten minus six is four.
20:41Times by the eight.
20:43Times by the 832.
20:45Add one. Add 133.
20:47Times by 25.
20:49Times by 25, 825.
20:51And that's one away.
20:53Yeah. Rachel Riley,
20:55set, stands behind
20:57the free kick on a hat-trick.
20:59826.
21:01Can she score?
21:03Er, you'll have to leave it
21:05with me, actually. I missed it as well.
21:07Good timing. Listen, we'll go to VAR
21:09during the break, and we can always return to it.
21:11The Tea Time Teaser is
21:13Hustlers. Hustlers has no
21:15compassion without his babe.
21:17Has no compassion without his babe.
21:35Welcome back. Hustlers
21:37becomes ruthless. Has no
21:39compassion without his babe.
21:41A reference to the baseball great
21:43Babe Ruth. And it's another
21:45home run for Rachel Riley.
21:47Well, it's a very slow one.
21:49But eventually, there are a couple of ways.
21:51We could have said eight plus six,
21:5314. Times by
21:55ten for 140.
21:57Add the 25 for 165.
21:59Times that by five
22:01for 825.
22:03And add the 1826.
22:05APPLAUSE
22:07A very good increase.
22:09Not quite bottom of the ninth in her
22:11Champion of Champions game so far,
22:13but work to be done for Steve.
22:1522 points behind.
22:17Dan, you're picking his letters.
22:19Can I start with a consonant, please? You can indeed.

23:25Jokiest. Yeah, Steve?
23:27Same word. Felt that might be coming
23:29our way with those letters.
23:31Not much choice in there, Heather. Small is no laughing matter at all.
23:33That's all we have as well.
23:35Yeah, I'd say so. Jokiest.
23:37Happy days. Right.
23:3975 plays 53.
23:41It's getting to that stage where the smiles
23:43disappear. Just five rounds

24:09Another R.
24:11And another consonant, please?
24:13Lastly, T.
24:15Here we go.

24:45Steve?
24:47I'll stick with seven.
24:49Dan? Yeah, seven.
24:51OK, Steve, what have you got? Latrine.
24:53Latrine, yeah. And Dan? That would have been
24:55more simple, but I went for tree nail,
24:57but with one E. It's absolutely fine, yes.
24:59It's a nail literally used
25:01for fastening timber together.
25:03Heather, seven as good as we can get?
25:05It is.
25:07You've got retinal. Yeah.
25:09Literal. Yeah.
25:11Trainer, trailer, lots of sevens.
25:13Literally got retinal. Fantastic.
25:1582 plus 60. Let's stay in dictionary
25:17corner. Origins of words, Susie?
25:19I'm going to keep it short, just to save my voice
25:21and save the viewers listening.
25:23I'm just going to talk about the origin of gargantuans,
25:25because you know how we
25:27love to big things up linguistically
25:29these days. We use hyperbole all the time,
25:31so we're never just tired.
25:33We're shattered. We're never happy.
25:35We're blissful.
25:37Also, nothing is ever
25:39big anymore. It's enormous.
25:41Or it's gargantuan, so if somebody
25:43has a gargantuan appetite, it is
25:45absolutely huge.
25:47Gargantua is actually the name of a giant
25:49king in a 16th century
25:51novel. It was a satirical novel
25:53called Gargantua by
25:55Francois Rabelais. Any French
25:57student will know about Rabelais.
25:59It's a five-volume series.
26:01It's a hefty story.
26:03It involves a giant and his son
26:05called Pantagruel.
26:07Everything in Gargantua's life
26:09befits a giant. He rides this
26:11huge mare whose
26:13tail swishes so violently
26:15it literally wipes out the entire
26:17forest of Orleans.
26:19He's got a huge appetite as well,
26:21such that he inadvertently
26:23manages to eat
26:25five pilgrims without noticing
26:27while eating a salad.
26:29This is the satirical novel we're dealing with.
26:31The sheer scale of everything
26:33connected with Gargantua led
26:35to, eventually, the adjective
26:37gargantuan in English. It was Shakespeare,
26:39really, so often that we have to credit
26:41for this metaphor for anything
26:43that is of tremendous size
26:45or volume. That was the original
26:47Gargantua, and we can just be very happy
26:49that he never actually existed.
26:51APPLAUSE
26:53Well, not quite a Gargantuan
26:55task for Steve just yet, but a
26:57hill to climb as we get back to the game.
26:59And, Dan, you're picking the letters.
27:01Could I start with a consonant, please?
27:03You can indeed. Thank you, Dan. R.
27:05And another?
27:07W. And another?
27:09R.
27:11And another?
27:13T.
27:15And a vowel?
27:17A. And another vowel?
27:19E.
27:21And another?
27:23A.
27:25And another vowel?
27:27I.
27:29Erm...
27:31And another consonant, please?
27:33Lastly, D.
27:35Start the clock.
27:47CLOCK TICKS
28:05This should be good.
28:07Dan? Eight, I think. And Steve?
28:09Just a six. What's a six, Steve?
28:11A trader. Right. He only said think.
28:13So it might count. Let's find out.
28:15Right, Dan. Tordria.
28:17Tordria. OK. It's all to do with
28:19whether the comparatives and superlatives
28:21are specified as it must be.
28:23And it is. Yeah. It is there, Dan.
28:25Well done. APPLAUSE
28:29Heather Small, please tell me
28:31that somebody cannot be wartier.
28:33LAUGHTER
28:35I just don't want it to be a word. I know.
28:37I have no idea what we're going to have to watch.
28:39Yes, it is. I know.
28:41We haven't looked it up before, unfortunately.
28:44Anything else?
28:46I've only got one, two...
28:48I've got a seven, and that's tarried.
28:50Is that as in...
28:52I remember there used to be tar a while.
28:54It was an old rhyme. Is that delaying going to bed?
28:57Yeah, if you tarried a while, yeah.
28:59You just sort of... It's lovely, actually.
29:01It's got a sense of kind of wistful aimlessness about it, I think.
29:05Yeah. That's a lovely word. It's a lovely word.
29:07Dan hoping to put this to bed sooner rather than later.
29:10But not out of yet, Steve. Nine more letters. Come on.
29:13I've got a constant, please. Thank you, Steve.
29:16T
29:17And another.
29:18N
29:19And another.
29:20P
29:21A vowel, please.
29:23U
29:24Another vowel.
29:25O
29:26Another vowel.
29:28A
29:29A consonant.
29:31R
29:33A consonant.
29:35N
29:36And a final vowel, please.
29:39And a final E.
29:41Last letters.
30:08That's time, Steve.
30:10I'm going to risk a nine. That's definitely not in.
30:12But you need a nine or it's all over.
30:15So I love that. Dan?
30:17I think I'll go eight.
30:18OK, the eight is...
30:20Patron.
30:21Patron with an N-E on the end.
30:23OK.
30:24Steve, what's your punt?
30:26I'm going to try unpronate.
30:28Oh, and you will know from your collection
30:31that unpronate is such a countdown word.
30:35But you can't stick the un on it.
30:37Oh, I'm so sorry.
30:38Steve, more power to your elbow, cos you had to go for it.
30:41I love the fact you managed to even get something
30:43that made any form of sense out of that for a nine.
30:46But it means, with that moment,
30:48Dan is going to be in the quarterfinals.
30:50Well done, there.
30:51APPLAUSE
30:53There you go.
30:54Those first early rounds were so neck and neck,
30:56but just little moments, little moments.
30:58OK, two rounds left, and Dan, you know,
31:01Let's go three large.
31:03Three large, just for a little bit of fun.
31:05Just to spice things up on a Tuesday afternoon.
31:08The three little ones for the final time today.
31:10Eight, two, one.
31:12And the big ones, 150 and 75.
31:16And that target...
31:17Oh, not very spicy.
31:19608.
31:20608, last numbers.
31:23Oh!
31:24Oh!
31:25Oh!
31:26Oh!

31:44Oh!
31:45Oh!
31:46Oh!
31:47Oh!
31:48Oh!
31:49Oh!
31:50Oh!
31:51Oh!
31:52Oh!
31:56Oh!
31:57Dan?
31:58608.
31:59Yes, and Steve?
32:00Yes, 608.
32:01Ten points all round, Dan.
32:0275 plus one and then times by eight.
32:04Perfect.
32:05Exactly the same.
32:07APPLAUSE
32:10100 next phase, 70, ten points still.
32:13Let's go out with a bang, Steve.
32:15Finger on the buzzer, or is Dan going to hit 118
32:17as we reveal today's Countdown conundrum?
32:20conundrum.
32:51BUZZER
32:52Dan.
32:53Celerati.
32:56I think that was celerati. You have to go for that.
32:59Steve, you have 0.1 seconds.
33:02Three, two, one, go.
33:04BUZZER
33:05And he's in. Have a go.
33:07I'll try cirelate.
33:08Let's have a look.
33:10You're wrong.
33:11So let's reveal today's Countdown conundrum answer.
33:16Oh, Criterio. Very good.
33:19I don't know why I'm clapping. Nobody got it.
33:21That was just on me. Fantastic stuff.
33:23They've been so tough, the Countdown conundrums.
33:25The mind boggles as to what the quarterfinals are going to be like.
33:29Well, Steve, it wasn't to be.
33:30I loved how you played, though, going for that nine.
33:32One of my favourite moments of the Champion of Champions.
33:35Thank you for being here, mate.
33:37There you go.
33:38And Pridis Sheffield through to the quarterfinals.
33:40It wasn't the most intense Champion of Champions game,
33:43but it was a relief to get through, I think.
33:45Well, sleep easy tonight,
33:46cos you'll be facing the all-time highest OctoChamp scorer
33:49of all time, Elliot Mellor, in the quarterfinals.
33:52I know what's on the cards there.
33:55Heather, Susie, we'll just hold on to the cocktails.
33:57We'll see you tomorrow. Yes.
33:59Brilliant. There you go.
34:00Quarterfinal line-ups are absolutely amazing.
34:02And tomorrow, if Sam wins,
34:04he would face his wife, Florence, in the quarterfinal.
34:07But that's not what makes tomorrow big.
34:09It's your TV birthday.
34:10Well, I hope you're going to bring me some cake, Colin.
34:13He's got surprises.
34:14Join us for that celebration every day.
