00:00This year, that has been so huge for female rappers that have dominated the charts, and

00:09really, we haven't talked a lot about, outside of, like I said, outside of Kendrick, nobody's

00:14really talking about male rappers.

00:16I think it's amazing.

00:18It's so many women now that's in the industry, they're really doing their thing, you gotta

00:22give it up to them.

00:23They're charting the charts, they're putting out dope records, dope albums, projects, collaborations.

00:29So it's actually a great thing to see, I'm loving the energy.

00:33You know, one of the things, when you were coming up, people always wanted to pit female

00:39rappers against each other.

00:40We're not seeing that as much now, in fact, most of the female rappers are kind of getting

00:44along, they collaborate, they do a lot of tracks together.

00:48What do you think about that change, is that a good thing, or did the competition, when

00:53you were coming up, was that better, just as far as generating interest from fans?

00:58No, I think it was a great thing, I think it was just not as much of us, so it was very

01:03much pick and choose, now you have hundreds of girls that are doing their thing right

01:07now, so everybody I feel is just enjoying the collaboration and the working together,

01:12the features, you know, and watching the unity as it evolves.

01:16If you had to pick one, which artist, I will say this, not the best, who's impressed you

01:21the most this year?

01:22Wow, it's so many.

01:24I would definitely say Gorilla, I would go with those, because she's definitely done

01:28an amazing job, you know, she's on her second album, she's been consistent, she just came

01:35off the tour with Meg, and she's really just making her mark, like she's just standing

01:40on business, and she's just constantly doing her thing, constantly putting out records,

01:44features, collaborating with other female artists, I would definitely say she's made

01:48like a big impact.
