00:00This is the type of indictment you would expect from someone in the mafia.
00:03I don't know that I could keep him off the stand.
00:05He is very eager to tell his story.
00:08They're going to show that video over and over and over
00:11about what happens to women that won't change their stories.
00:15His reputation is over.
00:17The United States government, they start making this case
00:20as a takedown of a successful black man.
00:24TMZ presents The Downfall of Diddy, The Indictment, now streaming on Tubi.
00:30We have been talking for months about the fact that,
00:32with very, very few exceptions,
00:35everyone in Hollywood, in show business,
00:37has been pretty quiet about what's going on with Diddy.
00:40About the allegations, about the indictment.
00:43Really, since the raids.
00:45Actually, you can even go back to the Cassie lawsuit.
00:48He has been radioactive.
00:50People have, like, literally run away.
00:52Not literally.
00:52Figuratively run away from Diddy.
00:54That's how mad, right?
00:55Well, they run away.
00:56Sometimes literally run away from the questions.
00:58Right.
00:58Ray J is one person who did talk a little bit about it,
01:01but Bow Wow now is offering a different perspective.
01:04One, it's pretty controversial.
01:06That has actually already gotten him a lot of blowback.
01:09He was on a podcast called More to the Story with Roxy Diaz
01:14and talked about where Diddy's story has gone now
01:18and the fact that he is sitting in a detention center in Brooklyn
01:23where he will remain, at the very least,
01:25until his trial begins next May.
01:28So, this was not what I expected to hear.
01:33I'm shocked.
01:33From someone who, clearly, this has been going on for months.
01:36There's no way that Bow Wow doesn't know
01:38the nature of the allegations against Diddy.
01:41Yet, this is what he said he is longing for.
01:45I would have never thought it would,
01:48if it is the end, it would be,
01:49this would be the story of how it would end.
01:51It ain't gonna end like this.
01:52I would never thought that it would,
01:54we would see him in this position, ever.
01:57Even with all the rumors that I've always circulated.
02:00Never.
02:01Just never thought I'd see it like this.
02:03He's like the gatekeeper to the game.
02:05To the point to where, what weekends has he had?
02:08Like, BET Awards weekend, it didn't,
02:10like the past two, they just didn't feel right.
02:12Because there was no motion.
02:13There was no parties.
02:15There was nowhere to go.
02:16Like...
02:17Let's be very specific between parties and freak outs.
02:19No, the industry, like the parties that we attend.
02:22Like, there's me, the you, the terraces, the...
02:26I left before, before one.
02:29He was just such a gatekeeper for them.
02:30The liquor in the clubs, the mo...
02:34He was everything, hip hop.
02:36Wow.
02:37He misses Diddy parties.
02:38Obviously the thing that everyone's calling him out for
02:40is just saying it's tone deaf, right?
02:41That it's not understanding what the tone is now
02:45and what people are remembering about parties
02:48and what they...
02:49Right.
02:50To like, remember longingly about these parties
02:53where awful things allegedly happened, Charles.
02:56Yeah, it's very close.
02:57It's tone deaf, but we don't want to go too far, right?
03:00I mean, he's not suggesting that the abuse of women
03:02that's been alleged is happening.
03:04Right, he's not saying that.
03:04What he's saying is that there was a...
03:06He waxes a little nostalgic
03:08about sort of fun parties with Diddy,
03:10but at the same time sort of seems to recognize
03:13that this isn't something he wants to lean in too hard on.
03:16Kind of tiptoes into it, trying to parse the difference.
03:19It's almost like he's trying to say,
03:20like he feels sorry for Diddy and what he's going through.
03:24And I think we're all shocked.
03:25This is a guy who was just as big
03:28and as powerful in the music industry
03:30as you could possibly be.
03:31So yeah, we're all shocked.
03:32I want to give Roxy Diaz some credit there
03:34because she did push back a little bit.
03:36She did.
03:36And say, but you know, you're remembering this
03:42like it was a really wonderful thing.
03:44It's a bit strange.
03:44But there are still these allegations.
03:46I know, think of some terrible day, Charles,
03:48and to remember longingly about that time.
03:50It's something strange.
03:52Look, I think what you're actually hearing
03:54from Bow Wow there is exactly the reason
03:56why we haven't heard anybody talking about Diddy.
04:00Because if you do talk about it, you don't want to,
04:03because he's not been convicted.
04:05These are allegations.
04:06He'll have his day in court.
04:07Right, he denies it all.
04:08And at this point, he's denying it.
04:10But of course, we have all seen the Cassie video.
04:13So there's judgment that has been passed there.
04:15You think that's why?
04:16Do you think a lot of people would remember it like this?
04:17They don't want to talk about it.
04:18Because you don't want to slam him
04:21because he hasn't been convicted.
04:22But if you, as Bow Wow did, sort of remember the good old days,
04:26then people will say that you're not being
04:29sensitive to the alleged victim.
04:30Kind of a lose-lose.
04:31There's obviously also the added component
04:34of what if he is ultimately acquitted
04:37and comes back and wants to be part of the music scene?
04:40You think there might be a little fear of some people
04:42that they don't want to run afoul of him during this time?
04:44That's something we've heard.
04:45That there could be retribution in a business sense.
04:48We've heard that about witnesses coming forward
04:50and they're worried about what could happen
04:51on the other side of things.
04:52So I think that's a legit concern.
04:53Yeah.
04:54So him saying it like this, again, this is why you just,
04:58I think that's why we have not heard a lot of celebrities
05:02wanting to weigh in at all on it.
05:03But that was Bow Wow's take.
05:05By the way, we should tell you about the,
05:08we told you yesterday about the Tony Busby, the attorney,
05:11and his clients who had filed lawsuits yesterday.
05:13There were six that were filed yesterday.
05:16And who knows what's to come today.
05:18But late yesterday, we got a response from Diddy's team
05:22to the first wave of lawsuits.
05:24This is what they said in reference
05:27to Tony Busby specifically.
05:29The press conference and 1-800 number
05:31that preceded today's barrage of filings
05:34were clear attempts to garner publicity.
05:37In court, the truth will prevail that Mr. Combs
05:40has never sexually assaulted anyone,
05:42adult or minor, man or woman.
05:46A reference to one of the plaintiffs yesterday
05:48was said that they were 16 at the time.
05:50So that's their response, which you would expect.
05:54And maybe that response is true.
05:56It's just getting to the point, Charles.
05:58There's so many of these things mounting now.
06:00The problem that Diddy has when he responds to these things
06:03and says it's all untrue, everyone immediately
06:06in their head, they go, that's what he said
06:08when Cassie filed her lawsuit.
06:09And he looks like a liar.
06:10And then we saw that video.
06:12And that video is going to keep coming up like that.
06:15And it'll certainly come up during the federal trial.
06:18It makes him look like he's an untruthful person.
06:21And remember, he's not being prosecuted for that,
06:24what happened in that video.
06:25But it is certainly going to come into play
06:28with almost every allegation against him.
06:30Hi, I'm Keisha Miles from Houston, Texas.
06:33And I wanted to weigh in on the Bow Wow comments.
06:37You know, it may be time for little Bow Wow
06:39to grow up into a big dog
06:41and take these Diddy allegations a bit more seriously.
06:44You know, the audacity for him to just be concerned
06:47about parties when we have so many serious
06:52and violent allegations out here for Diddy right now.
06:55It just was an insensitive comment to me.
06:57Yeah, I think that's really the,
07:01that's the key word, insensitive.
07:03And that's how it landed.
