00:00Hello again. How are you? We need to stop meeting like this, honestly.
00:03Lovely to see you.
00:04I feel like you're going to think I'm your stalker now.
00:06Just here's fine. Are you taller tonight or am I smaller?
00:08You look really tall tonight.
00:09I think I've got... Yeah, you get nights like that.
00:11I think I've grown a touch.
00:13Do you know, I'm really sorry I never complimented your beard the other day.
00:16Oh, well, thank you.
00:16It's gorgeous. I mean, it suits you.
00:18Well, thank you. It's had a mixed reception.
00:20Has it?
00:21I think that's... A woman in the street the other day went,
00:22Oh, no! Like that. And I said, I said, I'm playing a man who's falling apart.
00:26She said, well, it's working.
00:29How dare she?
00:30How dare she?
00:30Well, listen, not to play on words here, but it's always a joy to see you.
00:34This film was a total palate cleanser for me yesterday.
00:37I'm so in love with the film.
00:38Oh, well, good.
00:39And I was chatting to everyone earlier.
00:40James revealed to me that there is a group chat between you three.
00:44Yes, there is.
00:45And you go to restaurants together.
00:46We do. We eat together. We do. We actually stick together.
00:49We got on very, very well. They're very nice people.
00:52Thomasin is adorable and brilliant and James is a lovely man.
00:55And we, yeah, we have. We've become proper friends and it's very nice.
00:59Not always that happens.
01:00And apparently you're the person they go to for restaurant recommendations.
01:04Yeah, well, I've been around. Come on.
01:06I've been around a lot longer than they have.
01:08And I, you know, but James has his own ideas about that as well.
01:12Come on now, you're a spring young chicken.
01:13You're still young. Still young. Still young at heart.
01:16And listen, last time I was speaking to you, you were playing a goose.
01:20And now there's this role. Quite the contrast.
01:22But how special was it to be a part of this story?
01:25Because it's gorgeous.
01:26It's very special. It's such a big story.
01:28You can't get much of it. You can't get a bigger story.
01:31Given that there are now 16 million women who have children who wouldn't have children.
01:34Had these three obsessives not persevered over a 10 year period where they failed and failed and failed and failed and failed.
01:41And were attacked by the newspapers, the church, their families, the Medical Association, everyone.
01:47No one supported them.
01:48They had no funding.
01:49They did it all out of temporary buildings out the back of Oldham Hospital because nobody in London would touch them.
01:55And they persevered.
01:56And Louise Brown was born 47 years ago and everybody shut up.
02:00Honestly, it's one of my favourite films of the year. I loved it.
02:02It's always a joy to see you.
02:04We need to stop meeting like this.
02:06Thank you so much, Phil. See you later.
