00:00Hello, I'm Adathot Shoy, founder and lead designer of Elder Games.
00:04I'm here to introduce you to the gameplay of our upcoming game,
00:07Soulslinger Unway of Death, and how you become strong enough to survive the afterlife.
00:12You play as Soulslinger, a newly dead soul, recruited into a war
00:16against a mysterious undead cartel that's taken over Limbo.
00:20Over time, you'll become an unstoppable advoy of death.
00:24But, since it's a roguelite, you'll be pretty darn stoppable to start with.
00:29Luckily, your boss, Death, has your back,
00:32and is ready to send you back to Limbo again, and again,
00:36until your mission is complete.
00:38Once you've cleared an area of enemies, you receive a reward,
00:43and can choose a portal to step through.
00:45Each portal shows what you'll gain from the area beyond,
00:48whether it's assistance from friendly NPCs,
00:51or specific rewards for clearing out the cartel.
00:54For example, if you're looking for powerful abilities and passive boosters,
00:58seek out essences.
01:00These orbs, full of rescued souls, offer you 3 powers to choose from when you pick them up.
01:05Lesser essences give simple but useful buffs.
01:09But the real spice is in primal essences,
01:12which infuse Soulslinger with elemental energy.
01:15You can choose elemental powers to complement your playstyle.
01:18But if you fall, when you fall, don't worry.
01:21You'll return to the mysterious realm of Haven,
01:24where you can gain more permanent upgrades and equipment for future runs.
01:28And what's a Gunslinger without a gun to sling?
01:31The crafting table allows Soulslinger to craft a variety of weapons,
01:34as well as tools and artifacts that will aid him in the journey.
01:37By collecting your own mix of essence buffs, crafted weapons,
01:41and resources for permanent upgrades,
01:43you can customize your gameplay and progression.
01:45The more you delve into Limbo and the deeper you go,
01:48the more choices you have, and the stronger you become.
01:58But don't get cocky, you're gonna need all the help you can get.
