00:00Remember, it's not the art of itself, but the practitioner who practices that art.
00:13Every art has a way, and ways in which they do things, and they will teach you those things,
00:23but that doesn't necessarily mean every person who learns those things, does those things
00:31correctly, understands those things.
00:37Every individual is different, therefore you can have 20 people inside the room doing the
00:46same art and everybody will be different.
00:49Some will be great in what they do, and some not so great, some there will be a disappointment
00:58to the art, that's facts, that is facts.
01:05It is not the art of itself, but the practitioner who participates in that art, just as the
01:15football can do nothing of itself, it is the footballer who brings alive that ball, that
01:26ball comes alive via the footballer and what the footballer does with that ball.
01:39Every martial arts teacher are not real, some are fake, and as long as we have damn fools
01:50out here who accept the foolishness that they bring, we will continue to have fake martial
02:01arts teachers basically teaching you to destroy yourself, giving you a false sense of confidence,
02:13teaching you things that do not work, teaching you to apply things that you really shouldn't
02:22even attempt.
02:28It's not even funny, because there are people being paid to destroy the lives of those they teach.
02:45Martial fartists, yeah, martial fartists, that's what they are, teaching martial fart.
02:57And there are those who look good, yeah, they've learnt how to present to you the art, but
03:11they lack in the martial, they look pretty, oh look how nice he does the stick, oh look
03:20how wonderful she uses the sword, oh look at the nunchucks and how it moves in circles,
03:31oh that foot went up real high, oh he's really fast with those fists, but guess what, some
03:42of these people, they look lovely, but put them in a situation where they have to defend
03:50themselves and they can't, they can't.
03:55I remember one woman, I'm not going to say her name, I'm not going to blow her up, but
04:00I remember one woman years ago when I was teaching Wing Chun and she was so good at
04:10teaching formations, so good at doing formations, fluent, the movements were just graceful and
04:23just looked so eloquent, but then when we trained combat, she didn't know what the hell to do,
04:41she couldn't participate in that, because she didn't have it in her, she just looked
04:47beautiful in what she did, but when it came to being able to use it to defend yourself
04:54or herself, it just wasn't there, and that's how it is for some people, we are not all fighters,
05:02but if you are teaching martial arts to people with the intention of having them know how
05:17to defend themselves, surely you should know how to defend yourself too, or is it just
05:26me, or am I being hard on people, know who you are learning from, know who you are learning
05:37from 100%, because there are people out here lying to you.
