02:02This is a threat to anyone that lives in those communities.
02:05Anyone that has family in those communities, kids playing in the parks where those homes
02:09were shot at or those businesses were shot at.
02:11This is serious.
02:14I love our country.
02:16I love our democracy.
02:18I would do anything to protect it.
02:21I can't imagine or understand any political leader who wouldn't also do anything to
02:26protect our country.
02:27And that's why it troubles me deeply that Pierre Polyev is unwilling to receive security
02:34clearance and to fully understand what's going on.
02:37I don't want the Indian government, which is who the RCMP has implicated in this, and
02:42the Modi government specifically, I don't want the Indian government or Modi to think
02:47they've got someone in Canada who's willing to look the other way to ignore what's going
02:51on.
02:52We need to take an approach where we're all on the same side, that we're all denouncing
02:56this serious series of allegations, and that we're standing united to do everything possible
03:02to protect Canadians.
03:04That's why my team will be calling for an emergency meeting of the Public Safety Committee
03:11to look at other steps we can take to keep Canadians safe.
03:15We will also urge Canada to ban the RSS, which is a right-wing extremist militant group from
03:23India that has branches in other countries, including in Canada, that promotes violence
03:28and division.
03:30We'll also urge Canada to impose severe and strict sanctions on Indian diplomats.
03:38We need to take every step possible to keep Canadians safe.
03:41The RCMP has exposed a very serious threat, and now let's take that threat seriously and
03:46act accordingly.
