00:08Also included in the discussions in the town hall meeting

00:11is the promotion of the ease of doing business in the country

00:15and the implementation of E-BOOS in each LGU.

00:23Naomi, today was held the 4th new Philippines town hall meeting

00:29in Pampanga.

00:30This is still part of the campaign against red tape

00:33and the promotion of ease of doing business.

00:36The municipality of San Simon was also invited

00:39for the implementation of E-BOOS.

00:44Various local officials and agencies of the government in Pampanga

00:49joined the new Philippines town hall meeting

00:51led by Anti-Red Tape Authority, ARTA.

00:55According to ARTA Deputy Director for Operations

00:58under Secretary General Divina Gracia,

01:00they will continue to open the red tape

01:02and promote the ease of doing business in the country.

01:05President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

01:08envisions a government that acts as a red carpet,

01:13welcoming and supportive for all Filipinos,

01:16especially aspiring entrepreneurs.

01:19This is the very essence of the ease of doing business law.

01:23Under RA 11032,

01:25Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018,

01:30the local government units are ordered to establish

01:33an electronic business one-stop shop for E-BOOS.

01:36As of now, 112 LGUs have fully complied with E-BOOS,

01:41of which 68 LGUs have been recognized.

01:46For LGUs, E-BOOS has led to increased revenue collection,

01:51improved efficiency and enhanced accountability.

01:55For businesses, E-BOOS has reduced processing time.

01:59While 10,894 agencies and LGUs reached 96.52%

02:07of their citizens' charter.

02:10ARTA asked the public to help them open the red tape.

02:15In fact, 22,612 or 97.96%

02:21have already submitted their complaints to the public.

02:24Meanwhile, the Municipal Government of San Simon, Pampanga

02:28received a Certificate of Lack of Commendation

02:31from ARTA for the implementation of E-BOOS.

02:34San Simon is the first LGU in Pampanga to implement E-BOOS.

02:39Through E-BOOS, it is easier and more affordable

02:43to apply for business permits.

02:46Because of this, businessmen will be able to invest

02:50to help in the development.
