00:00Today we held our second Inverness Walk of Light so we all came together at the Glenmore Hotel
00:06before walking along to the Circle of Wives in the Ness Islands where we read a poem,
00:11remembered our babies, listened to a lovely piper and lit our candles just in memory of
00:16all the little ones that didn't get to stay. I think it's really important here because we can
00:20see even in the two years that we've been kind of running this event just the growth in our community
00:25families are coming together it wasn't just bereaved parents who were there tonight
00:29there was children, siblings, grandparents it was a real sense of community tonight so you can see
00:35how much it's needed and just to build that understanding I think parents here tonight
00:40with their wider members of family it's an easy way for them to let know just how much their baby
00:45means to them and how important they are. The last year was the first one and we had about 45 people
00:49which I thought was amazing. I think we've got close to maybe 70 or 80 this year which is lovely
00:55to see heartbreaking as well to see new faces and amongst the mix but I think we probably had
01:01about 18 to 20 individual families represented tonight and that that's lovely. One family came
01:06as far away as Skye for tonight so that really means a lot. I think there is already a sense of
01:12community here we've got a lot of local businesses that have been supporting us this week during Baby
01:16Loss Awareness Week there is a real sense of support and community up here and I think obviously
01:21as the charity kind of continues to grow up here in support and also in numbers we'll be
01:25able to put on maybe more events like this or more kind of family focused events during the year.
