00:00The inner peace didn't leave me and I kept on looking at the child and I said,
00:04from this, a lot of people will know Christ.
00:07From this, from the testimony, a lot of people will start believing Christ is Lord.
00:12Christ is above every disease.
00:17People of God, right now, if you have the picture of a loved one who is sick,
00:24maybe they are not physically with you, but you are here standing on their behalf by faith.
00:31Hold up that picture.
00:33The Bible says, in Hebrews 4 verse 13,
00:38that there is nothing in creation that is hidden from God's sight.
00:44By faith, I send the word of healing to that person.
00:51Be healed in Jesus' mighty name.
00:57My name is Jonathan Kasotshi, connecting from Zambia, Central Africa.
01:04On the 29th of November, God blessed us with a child, Jemima.
01:11The following day, she became so sick around 7 p.m.
01:15And I was out, I was called to say, the baby here is crying and it looks like she's in pain.
01:24Whatever you are, you should come back, you need us by the clinic.
01:28So I rushed to the clinic.
01:30When I reached there around 7 p.m., they did the tests, they did all they could.
01:35The pain was still escalating, I could tell, because she could cry uncontrollably.
01:42She could cry.
01:43Fast forward, we were rushed to the hospital.
01:45We were transferred to the biggest hospital in Zambia, which is the UTH.
01:50We were there around 9 p.m.
01:53The doctors tried by all means to do the tests, even that side.
01:57She couldn't breathe on her own because of the same condition.
02:01That night we reached, she was put on oxygen.
02:04At the end of the day, they said, the only thing that we can do now is,
02:08we are suspecting she could have meningitis.
02:11So we need to do a lumbar puncture for us to be sure.
02:16I didn't know about the lumbar puncture, but all I know is it's not something good.
02:22I was so disturbed and I was in fear physically, but my heart was so calm.
02:29And to an extent where I told them to say, before you do that, can you give us 24 hours?
02:37I went outside and shared the message or the news to my family.
02:41I told them what's going on.
02:43They were all not happy and they were not sure about the lumbar puncture.
02:48I came inside.
02:48I went inside the hospital again, knelt down, prayed.
02:53When the doctors and everyone was around, that's how I told them, okay, give us 24 hours.
02:58And of course, we were transferred to a certain room.
03:01That's where we spent the night.
03:03On that same night, that was the 30th of November.
03:06I had an appointment on the 2nd of December to go to STV.
03:12That appointment, interactive prayer, because I had some issues, some personal issues as well.
03:18So this whole thing of my child getting sick just came in there.
03:24I didn't know what God was trying to do.
03:26The following day they told me, are you ready for the lumbar puncture?
03:29Then I said, no, we can't do that.
03:32While it's in my heart, in my mind, I knew that.
03:35Uh, from the same sickness, this child will be okay.
03:40The time I'll be prayed for on the 2nd of December.
03:44And most of the people will know Christ from the same testimony I'm going to give
03:48because I had an appointment with brother Chris.
03:51They kept on encouraging me to do the lumbar puncture of which I didn't.
03:55Cause I knew Jesus was there for me and I knew Jesus will come through for this.
04:01Lo and behold, it was 2nd December when the day came that I was supposed to be prayed for.
04:09So brother Chris came out and he directed us to say,
04:14please, if you have offended, if you have any offense, you have any grudge in your heart,
04:20please forgive and forget.
04:23You can never have a grudge and still pray to God.
04:26Of course, I had issues with some, you know, people here and there.
04:32So I decided to free myself by, of course, forgiving them and forgiving me.
04:37From there, the same session, we were told to say, if you have any body who's sick,
04:44and I knew I could just put, I could just say it in my heart.
04:48Cause I never had the fault of my child.
04:50My child was in the phone, the same phone I was using.
04:53We started praying, people of God, I want to tell you this.
04:56I've never felt like that in my life.
04:59I've been a Christian, but I've never, I just lost control of my mouth.
05:05I couldn't feel myself.
05:06I didn't know what I was saying.
05:08I found myself like kneeling down, praising God.
05:14All of a sudden I felt the inner peace in me.
05:17I couldn't say a word.
05:18I started laughing.
05:20Thank you, Jesus.
05:22I couldn't control the laughter in me.
05:24I went on and on.
05:26I couldn't say a word.
05:27I couldn't just do anything.
05:29I couldn't pray.
05:30I couldn't mention my daughter's name.
05:31But in my consciousness, I knew that Jesus has won the battle.
05:36This battle has been won.
05:38After the prayer interaction, I received a call that she's been put out of oxygen.
05:46I knew Jesus has already done it.
05:48I praised the Lord.
05:49I knew Jesus has already done it.
05:51And I rushed to the hospital just to have a look and to see what is going on there.
05:58I found it was true.
05:59And the inner peace didn't leave me.
06:02And I kept on looking at the child.
06:03And I said, from this, a lot of people will know Christ.
06:08From this, from the testimony, a lot of people will start believing Christ is Lord.
06:13Christ is above every disease.
06:16The following day, she was transferred to the main room where they keep babies.
06:20The one who's in charge of that place.
06:22She was going around seeing the babies.
06:26She found Jemima there with her mother.
06:29And she asked, what is this child doing here?
06:33They started explaining, no, we were suspecting she's got this.
06:38And we were trying to do the lumber function.
06:40She was so surprised.
06:42And she became so furious.
06:44She was like, did you do the lumber function?
06:47No, the parents couldn't allow such.
06:50And she was like, no, the parents did well.
06:53Because whatever you guys were suspecting, it is not true.
06:57All I know is the great physician has done it.
07:00It was Jesus Christ.
07:02The following day, she was discharged from the hospital.
07:05We were told we should be going back for reviews, stuff like that.
07:09Because, you know, they couldn't believe that thing has happened.
07:14And they were saying, from the same condition,
07:16they were saying this person, this baby might not see it,
07:20might have some brain damage, can never walk.
07:24But Jesus came through, through Brother Chris.
07:30As I speak right now, she's fitter than me.
07:34She's brilliant.
07:37I praise the name of the Lord.
07:39She's now seven months.
07:41She was born on the 29th of November.
07:44Is there any advice that you'd like to give to viewers?
07:48I would say there is no real life outside Jesus.
07:55And Jesus is the only way out in any problem we are facing.
08:01And I would say our hardships as Christians,
08:05it's not meant to impair us, but to improve us.
08:09When she was going through that, I kept on praying.
08:13And I would say when we encounter such any problem,
08:18I think it's a wake-up call to say,
08:21you need to pray more, you need to fast more,
08:24you need to get close to Jesus more.
08:27That's what I would say.
