00:00TNA fans know Rosemary as a dark and devious combatant who always wears heavy makeup to
00:05the ring. But what does the woman under the war paint really look like? If you only recently
00:10became aware of Rosemary through her NXT appearances, her demonic character intimidates her opponents
00:15in the ring while expressing her unique personality among the vast array of talent in women's
00:20wrestling. Rosemary signed with TNA in January 2016 after competing in independent promotions
00:25for six years. She has held the TNA Knockouts Championship only once, though she has been
00:30a Knockouts World Tag Team Champion a record-setting four times.
00:35We got the gold."
00:40Rosemary debuted in TNA on Impact Wrestling on January 26, 2016, first appearing dressed
00:45as a macabre cheerleader. From that very first appearance, she became known for wearing heavy
00:49makeup and face paint. She also immediately joined the heel-stable DK alongside Crazy
00:54Steve and Abyss. Rosemary continued to sport the fearsome look throughout DK's 15-month
00:59initial run in the promotion, including its high-profile feud with House Hardy.
01:04During the rivalry, Rosemary's demonic look truly matched her character, especially after
01:08she appeared to kidnap Matt and Reby Hardy's then-infant son, King Maxwell. After DK disbanded
01:14in 2017, Rosemary went on to singles programs with Sue Young and Taya Valkyrie, among others.
01:20DK then reunited for a bit in 2021 and 2022. After that, Rosemary joined the stable The
01:25Death Dolls.
01:26I will see you in the future. And if you ever need help, I have my Death Dolls."
01:36Even when Rosemary isn't in the ring, she's still showcasing her creepy makeup looks to
01:39fans across the world. Her Instagram account features photos of all her looks, from more
01:44subtle eyeshadow and black lipstick combinations to full-on intricate face paint. Rosemary
01:48has posted photos of herself alongside tag-team partners she's had along the way, and photos
01:53of herself in character in her demonic-looking makeup with fans at conventions.
01:57Rosemary isn't the only alter ego of the woman-born Holly Letkerman, though. Before joining TNA,
02:02she also wrestled under the name Kourtney Rush, and she has appeared as Rush in TNA
02:06a few times. Unlike Rosemary, Rush is a fresh-faced beauty who goes without the dark eyeshadow
02:11and black lipstick. She also has her own separate Instagram account.
02:15Rosemary refers to Rush as the trusty human counterpart to her other character's demonic
02:19persona.
02:20I was happy-go-lucky, innocent.
02:24She has even ventured into appearing with a bare face for Twitch for gaming streams
02:28starting in 2020. But Letkerman never goes out of character on her Rosemary Instagram
02:32account, and her commitment to her character has clearly paid off, because she has caught
02:36the attention of the biggest wrestling company on the planet.
02:39In the spring of 2024, WWE and TNA entered a working agreement where competitors from
02:44each company could appear on the others' programming. So, for example, TNA Knockouts
02:48champion Jordan Grace challenged Roxanne Perez on NXT. Worldwide viral sensation Joe Hendry
02:54has likewise appeared on NXT numerous times, challenging for the brand's top men's championship.
03:00Rosemary has also appeared in WWE's developmental brand, arriving in her spooky, intricate makeup
03:05to terrorize women's North American champion Kalani Jordan on August 27th. Rosemary made
03:10her appearance on NXT seemingly as a friend of Wendy Chu, who also wears nightmarish makeup
03:15in the latest version of her character.
03:17Rosemary opened up about her surprise NXT appearance, explaining that, while Jordan
03:21defeated her quickly, she came to Chu's aid because,
03:23"...when your kinsman calls to help, you come to help. Even if you don't see eye-to-eye,
03:28even if you rule separate realms, demons help demons."
03:31Rosemary appeared once again on September 3rd to challenge Tatum Paxley. She lost that
03:36match, too, but did beat down the NXT star alongside Chu, appearing to solidify their
03:41nightmarish partnership, which led to a tag team match with Paxley and Lyra, Valkyria,
03:45on September 17th. They lost that one, too. Maybe they'll get it together as their alliance
03:50continues.
