00:00Lily Perry is caring for stray animals in northern Israel.
00:04It sounds a bit crazy these days to speak about animals,
00:09or feeding animals, or taking care of them.
00:13But unfortunately, the situation is that they're dying
00:18because most of the people are evacuated from these places
00:23and the cats and the dogs are being abandoned.
00:30Feeling it is her duty to care for the stray cats and dogs,
00:33Perry appears to be rescuing animals from evacuated areas bordering Lebanon.
00:38A fellow animal rescuer, Nora Lifshitz, is also finding a home
00:42for displaced animals in the south, saving dogs, cats, turkeys and many more.
00:47In the middle of the chaos, you know that no one takes care of the animals right now.
00:51No one has the animals in their mind even because there is so much chaos.
00:55The Hamas attack from October 7th left more than 1,400 people killed
01:00and seized at least 200 hostages.
