Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has emerged as a prominent political donor for Donald Trump's presidential campaign. New filings from the Federal Election Commission show Musk contributed nearly $75 million to America PAC, a super PAC formed to support Trump. Rather than traditional TV ads, America PAC has focused on canvassing, direct mail, and phone banking efforts.
