00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:05Blessed is He Who has sent down the Criterion upon His Servant, that he may be a warner to the worlds.
00:15Who to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and who has not taken a son, and to Whom there is no partner in dominion.
00:29And He created all things, and determined them according to a measure.
00:35And they have taken besides Him gods who create not a thing, while they are created.
00:46And they possess not for themselves any harm or benefit, nor possess they any death, nor any life, nor any resurrection.
01:01And those who disbelieve say, This is nothing but a falsehood which he has invented, and another people have helped him against it.
01:14So they have come to injustice and mischief.
01:19And they say, The fables of the ancients He has written them, and they are recited to Him morning and evening.
01:30Say, He has sent it down, Who knows the secret in the heavens and the earth.
01:38Indeed, He is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
01:44And they say, What is the matter with this Messenger? He eats food and walks in the markets.
01:52Why has no angel been sent down to him that he may be with him as a warner?
02:04Or that a treasure be thrown at him, or that he have a garden from which he may eat?
02:14And the wrongdoers say, You follow not except a man bewitched.
02:23See how they set forth to you the parables, but they have gone astray, and they cannot find a way.
02:33Blessed is He who, if He wills, has made for you better than that, gardens through which rivers flow, and has made for you palaces.
02:53But they denied the Hour, and We have prepared for him who denies the Hour a blazing fire.
03:02When it sees them from a distant place, they hear thereof a roaring and a roaring.
03:13And when they are thrown from it to a narrow place, joined together, they call therein destruction.
03:23Call not this Day to one destruction, but call to a great destruction.
03:32Say, Is that better, or the Paradise of Eternity, which the righteous have been promised?
03:41It will be for them a reward and a destination.
03:46They will have therein whatever they will, abiding eternally.
03:52It is upon your Lord a promise in question.
03:58And the Day He gathers them and that which they worship other than Allah and says,
04:05You have misled My servants, those are the ones who have strayed from the way.
04:22They will say, Exalted are You! It was not right for us to take allies besides You,
04:33but You gave them enjoyment and their fathers until they forgot the Reminder and became a people lost.
04:45So they have already denied you because of what you say, so they cannot avert or help.
04:54And whoever of you does wrong, We will give him a great punishment.
05:04And We did not send before you any messengers except that they ate food
05:13and walked in the markets, and We made some of you a trial for others. Will you be patient?
05:25And your Lord is Ever Seeing.
05:28And those who do not expect to meet Us say, Why were not the angels sent down to us, or did we see our Lord?
05:41They have indeed become arrogant among themselves and have committed a great transgression.
05:49On the Day when they see the angels, there will be no good tidings that Day for the criminals.
05:58And they will say, An abandoned rock.
06:02And We will return to what they did of work, and We will make it dust scattered.
06:13The companions of Paradise, that Day, will be the best abode and the best place to stay.
06:23And on the Day when the sky will be split open with clouds and We will send down the angels one by one.
06:35Sovereignty, that Day, is the truth for the Most Merciful.
06:41And it will be a Day on which the disbelievers will be in distress.
06:47And on the Day when the wrongdoer will be on his hands, he will say, Oh, I wish I had taken a way with the Messenger.
06:58Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken such a friend.
07:06Indeed, he led me astray from the remembrance after it had come to me.
07:12And ever is Satan, to man, a betrayer.
07:19And the Messenger will say, O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this town as an abandoned place.
07:29And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy of the criminals.
07:37And sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper.
07:43And those who disbelieve say, Why has not the Qur'an been sent down to him in one sentence?
07:52Thus is it, that We may strengthen thereby your heart, and We have made it sound like a flute.
08:01And they do not come to you with an example except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation.
08:11Those who will be gathered on their faces to Hell, those are worse in position and more astray in the way.
08:26And indeed We gave Moses the Scripture, and We made with him his brother Aaron a minister.
08:36So We said, Go both of you to the people who have denied Our Signs, and We will destroy them with destruction.
08:48And the people of Noah, when they denied the Messengers, We drowned them and made them a sign for the people.
08:59And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.
09:05And Aad, and Thamud, and the people of Ar-Ras, and many a generation before that.
09:16And to each of them We gave examples, and to each of them We destroyed with destruction.
09:25And they came upon a town that had rained a rain of evil, but they did not see it.
09:35Rather, they did not expect to be raised up.
09:39And when they see you, they take you not but as a mockery, saying, Is this the one whom Allah has sent as a Messenger?
09:49He almost led us astray from our gods, if only we had been patient with them.
09:59And they will know when they see the punishment, who is more astray in the way.
10:06Have you seen one who has taken his god as his desire? Then will you be to him a guardian?
10:22Or do you think that most of them hear or understand?
10:30They are not but like cattle. Rather, they are more astray in the way.
10:37Have you not seen your Lord how He extended the shade, and if He had willed, He would have made it still?
10:46Then We made the sun a sign against him.
10:52Then We seized him to Us with an easy seizure.
10:59And it is He who made for you the night a cover, and the sleep a rest.
11:06And He made the day to be raised up.
11:10And it is He who sent the wind to be raised up before His mercy.
11:17And We sent down from the sky a pure water.
11:25That We might give life thereby to a dead city, and that We might give it to drink of that which We have created,
11:33of cattle and of many people.
11:38And indeed We have distributed it among them that they may be mindful.
11:43But most of the people refused except disbelief.
11:48And if We had willed, We would have raised up a warner in every city.
11:55So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with it a great strife.
12:04And it is He who spread out the two seas. This is a bitter sweet, and this is a salty bitter.
12:14And He made between them a barrier, and a forbidden barrier.
12:21And it is He who created from water a human being, and made him a lineage and an offspring.
12:30And ever is your Lord Powerful.
12:34And they worship besides Allah that which benefits them not, nor harms them.
12:43And the disbeliever is ever a helper against his Lord.
12:48And We have not sent you except as a bearer of good tidings and a warner.
12:55Say, I ask not of you any reward for it, except that whoever wills may take to his Lord a way.
13:08And put your trust in the Living, who does not die, and glorify His praise.
13:15And sufficient is He as Aware of the sins of His servants.
13:21Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days, then established Himself on the Throne.
13:34The Most Beneficent, so ask of Him an Expert.
13:38And when it is said to them, prostrate to the Most Beneficent, they say,
13:43And who is the Most Beneficent? Shall we prostrate to that which you command us?
13:48And it increases them in hatred.
13:51Blessed is He who has placed in the sky towers, and placed therein a lamp and a luminous moon.
14:02And He it is Who has made the night and the day in succession for whom He wills to remember or wills to be grateful.
14:14And the servants of the Most Beneficent are those who walk upon the earth in ease.
14:21And when the ignorant address them, they say,
14:28And those who spend the night in prostration and standing before their Lord.
14:35And those who say,
14:37Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell.
14:43Indeed, its punishment is ever a punishment.
14:49Indeed, it is an evil settlement and residence.
14:55And those who, when they spend, do not exceed or exceed the limit, and there is a balance between that.
15:06And those who do not invoke with Allah another god and do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden,
15:16except in truth, and do not commit adultery.
15:21And whoever does that will meet a punishment.
15:26His punishment will be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated.
15:35Except for those who repent and believe and do righteous deeds,
15:42for those Allah will replace their evil deeds with good deeds.
15:51And Allah is Ever Forgiving, Merciful.
15:56And whoever repents and does righteous deeds, then indeed, he turns to Allah in repentance.
16:05And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by ill speech, they pass by with dignity.
16:14And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind.
16:25And those who say, Our Lord, grant to us from our wives and our progeny a comfort of eyes,
16:35and make for the righteous a guide.
16:40Those will be rewarded the room because they were patient, and they will be received therein with greetings and peace.
16:52Abiding therein is a good settlement and residence.
16:59Say, My Lord does not care for you, if it were not for your supplication.
17:06But you have already denied, so it will be an obligation.
