00:40The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever, the statement read,
00:44adding, for now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends,
00:47and the fans who loved him alongside us.

00:52The pop star fell from his balcony after a weeks-long stay in Argentina
00:56shortly after hotel staff placed a 911 call
00:59indicating their concern for a guest who was apparently under the influence
01:03and causing damage to their room.
01:05A preliminary autopsy report confirmed that Liam died of multiple skull injuries
01:10as well as internal and external hemorrhaging.
01:12Police said that multiple substances were seized from his room.
01:16Liam's family also spoke out on the sad loss,
01:18saying he will be remembered as a kind, funny, and brave soul.
01:22The musician is survived by his 7-year-old son, Bear, with ex, Cheryl.

01:34Me and Louis speak about it quite a lot.
01:35I mean, from our perspective, actually, for me and my ex,
01:39when we first had Bear in, like, after a few weeks,
01:42I don't know what Cheryl did at the time,
01:44but she got him in this beautiful sleeping pattern.
01:46He was sleeping.
01:47And I was like, I don't know what the fuss is all about.
01:49Like, what are you guys talking about?
01:51And people used to come to our house and they'd be like,
01:53how on earth have you done that?
01:54Like, how have you made it work?
01:57Because people were like, he's just so...
01:59We were very blessed and lucky with having Bear
02:01because he's so calm.
02:02There's no volume involved.
02:03Like, he throws his toys at the camera every so often,
02:05like a little bit.
02:06Of course, kids do.
02:07But he's been a blessing so far.
02:09So for me, it was like, it was quite easy at the start in a sense.
02:14Louis just phones me up every so often.
02:15It's comforting hearing from another dad
02:17who's obviously outside the situation
02:19and has to visit and go in and out of it.
02:21And hearing the dynamic of the things going on with them
02:23and what happens in that way.
02:24And his son's a tiny little bit older than mine.
02:27So I kind of get a lot of the different lessons
02:29and different things off him in a lot of ways, yeah.
