00:00Hey guys, in this video I will show you how to change the default SMS app on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
00:08So let's start. Okay.
00:10So Samsung has set Google Messages as the default SMS app on this phone.
00:16So if you want to change it, just follow the tutorial.
00:19So just swipe down from the top and then tap on Settings.
00:23And then scroll down to Apps and then tap on it.
00:27And then tap on Choose Default Apps.
00:30And then tap on SMS App.
00:32So you can see I have two SMS apps over here.
00:35You might be having more.
00:37So this one is Google Messages.
00:39So currently, this is the default SMS app.
00:42And this one is Samsung Messages.
00:44So I want Samsung Messages as my default SMS app.
00:48So just go to the SMS app that you want to set as the default.
00:52After that, just tap on it to select it. Okay.
00:56So let me tap on Samsung Messages.
00:58You can see it's now selected.
01:00And if I go back, you can see Samsung Messages is now my default SMS app.
