00:00Let's get to the very latest on Bally.
00:05They've been in the news this week for apparently, you know,
00:08their sponsorship is ending with these RSNs with Diamond Sports.
00:11It looks like FanDuel is taking over there.
00:13So that was part of Bally's early news this week.
00:15Now we have news that their sports book is opening in a new state.
00:18Where is it?
00:19It's Tennessee, Craig, and it's one of those states that you
00:23wonder why more sports books aren't in it because there's no
00:27license cap in Tennessee.
00:30Anybody can go and get a license as long as they qualify.
00:33So this is BallyBet's 10th state.
00:36If you remember, Craig, BallyBet scrapped the billions they spent
00:41on their own technology and they decided to go with Camby to provide
00:45their technology for them.
00:46And they've been slowly moving into states now ever since they've
00:49made that change.
00:50It's cheaper for them on the long run.
00:52The smaller companies, the fixed costs are sometimes cheaper than
00:56having to maintain the overall structure of a sports book and
01:00everything that goes into running one.
01:01So the thing is, Craig, we won't know how BallyBet does in
01:06Tennessee.
01:06They don't break out revenue or handle or anything like that.
01:09They simply tax handle.
01:10They're the only state in the country to do that.
