00:00Hello, Hi and welcome to the 3 Moons, welcome to door number 3. Now as you know, instead
00:07of doing the video forward, like door 1, door 2, door 3, I've done the video in reverse.
00:12So I'm doing the template, which is number 3. Then I'll go to number 2, then to number
00:181. As you know, here's door number 3. We've already made it, we've animated it, it looks
00:25like this. So the animation is 60 seconds to open a door and 60 seconds to close. It's
00:33on a keyframe animation so you can open and close it whenever you want. So it's up to
00:38you. Or you can just play the animation, leave it on a cycle, it's up to you. Of course,
00:42the door will keep opening and closing. So let's go back to the next model. So here's
00:46the next model, it's the same door, it's the same framework. This is a blender plane, I'll
00:51explain it at the very last part of the video. Because if you click on the plane, just here,
00:57go here, you can change the floor tiles to whatever colour you want. So if you want green,
01:02black, brown, if you want black and white tiles, you can have that. It's up to you,
01:07whatever you want to do. So I'll explain it after. In this video, I will be making door
01:12number 2. So as I said, this is the third door because you've got 3 circles. This is
01:18the first door because you've got 1 circle. Ooh, it's a big gigantic doorbell. So if you
01:23scale it down to a doorbell size, you can take the door, put it on the door, change
01:29the colour of it, and then of course make the actual door white, make the bottom black,
01:34and in that way, if you turn it into a button, you can basically have like a doorbell on
01:39the door. It's up to you, whatever you want to do. So anyway, we're going into Blender,
01:43that's what we're doing. So what we can do here is close this. This is just my video
01:50recorder, ignore that, forget about that. So here's the door inside Blender. The doorframe
01:56is obviously just here. Now of course, what we want to do is hide this doorframe. Now
02:02this is the doorframe that we're looking at. Now because we've already made doorframe number
02:063, what we can do is go in here. You see here, I've got here remake. So I can just go here
02:12left click on the draggy, right click, and then go delete. So we've got nothing. Remember
02:18in the last video, if you watched it, we made 3 templates. We made a template for the door.
02:25What I didn't do, I'm going to go here, save it as, I'm going to save it in the same file,
02:30using number 3, because it's door number 2. It sounds quite crazy, but that's how it works.
02:36Now of course, we need the window, and we need the glass. So we need 2 of them. What
02:42I'm going to do, I'm going to click this and click this. I'm going to right click. Sometimes
02:47my mouse messes around with that, so just right click it, and then go here, copy it,
02:52go back to the white box, right click it, right click on it, and go paste. So now we've
02:57got 2 windows, and 2 pieces of glass. Ok, so take a window, and take a piece of glass,
03:03these 2 are the same ones. This is the outer edge, and this is the outer edge. So we've
03:08got to make sure that I get the 2 pieces that I actually need, separately from the actual
03:14glass. So I don't want a door frame, so click off that. So I need a piece of glass, so we
03:20need to hide, let's hide that one. And that's the outer edge, so I can leave that one there.
03:28And when I see the glass, it should be this one. So before I get rid of that, so if I
03:34bring in, actually if I just hide this one, if I bring in this one here, that should be
03:42an outer piece of glass, and this should be the inner glass. Let's hide that. So we've
03:47got an outer edge, and we've got an inner piece of glass, so take that one, and take
03:54this one. Now, in order to take them separately, because if you hold the up arrow key on the
04:00keyboard, it selects all of it like that. So, what I want to do, just to keep things
04:04a little bit easier for myself, I want to go here, make a new file, I want to grab this
04:08and put it in here. Grab this one, put that in there. Just so these 2 are separate. So
04:13these 2, they're not separate at all, I'm saying, it's just so I know they're separate.
04:18Now of course, I need to bring these back with the door. So this is the one part, this
04:23is the second part. Now of course, I need to move the circles, and of course, I can't
04:28do that by eyeball. What I need to do is to grab the front, bring in the actual, I don't
04:34want a door frame, but I do want a door, like this. Go into wireframe, because you see where
04:42the ring is? So what I want to do is look at my 2 rings, I've got a ring here, and I've
04:47got a ring here. To move, it's down there, we don't want it down there. I already need
04:532 geometries. Zoom in. Now of course, you want to get this about as accurate as you
05:00can get it. So if you need the snapping to turn on, it will just kind of snap into place,
05:06which is quite great. So leave that there, because we want one here, and the other one
05:11is here. She's there. Now if we don't want it there, we want to basically come back here,
05:18snap, geometry to origin, leave the snapping turned on, snap it back up, so it snaps exactly
05:24where it is. Now that should be all I have to do. Now if I go back to the door frame,
05:31and hide this door frame, because that's the original. If I go back into standard mode,
05:36as you can see, now we've got a window at the top. Now it looks a bit like dominoes,
05:40I think, and great. So it's not a dominoes, it's actually a door. But, yeah, if you look
05:47at the, when you look at all 3 doors together, it's going to look a bit like dominoes, realistically.
05:51Which is, by the way, is a pretty kind of great game, kind of game, if you play it,
05:56if you play it properly. So go here. Now of course, you want a door, a window. Now of
06:02course, when I do this, I've got to make sure I hide that one. No, I'm going to keep
06:08that one, keep that one, and hide that one. So what I need to do, I need the ring, the
06:14ring, and the door. OK, select all 3. Now if you do it this way, it's going to rename
06:20me to something. Go here. Hold the control on the right side of the keyboard, left click
06:27that. Go here, left click join, so it joins it. Now the glass is separate from the door.
06:34I think, how great is that? Now of course, in the last video, we only had to join up
06:40one window. And in this video, we have to join up 2 windows. Which is a whole lot better
06:47than joining up all 3 windows like in the very first game. So I think, OK, what we want
06:52to do is put this over a little bit, so we can see this up here. Go in here. We're going
06:57to turn off the colour for a moment, so we can just kind of see like that. Not that it
07:01makes a difference, but I need to be able to make sure I click on the correct point
07:06right here. So I need to click this point, to this point, to this point. So we're following
07:13the centre of the window, which is there, hopefully. As you may or may not know if you
07:19watch my videos, sometimes I completely mess this up. So yeah. Go here, if that's in the
07:24way, go over here, left click that. Hold the up arrow key, left side of the keyboard, click
07:28here, here and here. So you've got like a big massive play button, backwards and forwards.
07:33So I was thinking, perfect, go here, here and here. You can just do the same on the
07:40opposite side. So basically you're doing a left and a right. That's what you're doing,
07:45kind of keep you, you don't have to keep the geometry the same, but you know, when
07:50it comes to like UV mapping, it's kind of good to keep it the same, just that way. Yeah,
07:55it just makes life a bit more easy for you, when you come around to painting it. So I
08:00think it's ok, even though I don't paint it like most people. So I just basically use
08:04a colour, and I'll just throw it on top of the door, and then that's it, job done. Because
08:10I'm adding scratches and all that kind of thing later on to my geometry, and if you're
08:15watching my video, you already know that. So I'm trying to make my computer as less
08:21stressed as possible, because my computer gets pretty stressed with stuff. So I'm thinking
08:26that's not really quite great, especially because I'm trying to make a game, but I'm
08:30thinking, nothing I can do about it, I didn't design the computer, that was obviously the
08:35manufacturer, but he does get stressed with himself, realistically. So I'm thinking,
08:41I need to turn, you know the real world physics? He's done it, I've connected it all to the
08:47bottom, I think. Oh no, I haven't. Have I? Nope, because I'm looking at it from the opposite
08:58side. You know what, I actually thought I connected it to the wrong side, I thought
09:02no way of doing it again. So anyway, go here, not that one, go here, here. If you just go
09:08somewhere near the dot, you don't have to click the dot, just go somewhere near it,
09:13and you'll actually just click on the dot itself. It's kind of great that he does that.
09:18As I said, I thought I connected it to the wrong side, but then, obviously, luckily for
09:22me, I never. Because, you know, as I said, I try to do the videos as quick and as fast
09:28as I possibly can. Well, of course, like I tell you in the video, I don't want to go
09:33too fast, because I'm going to make a mistake, like I would do, and I'm thinking I don't
09:38want to make too many mistakes, because it's going to make the video longer and longer,
09:43and it's going to cause even more work for myself than I actually need to do. As I said,
09:49I started off originally with door number three, because I had made a template for door
09:55number three, and the reason why I made it, because I was thinking, in future, if I make
09:59the full template first, and instead of making a model from absolutely nothing to an object,
10:07I was thinking, if I make the full object first, if you're interested in that particular
10:13object, then, of course, you can download the full version, and then all you have to
10:19do, if you're interested, is downgrade the door. That's exactly what I'm doing, I'm
10:24downgrading it. So, let's say you don't want the door the way it is, with three circles
10:29in it. Maybe, for some unknown reason, your computer can't run it, which it can, I know
10:35it can, but I'm saying, if your computer can't run that door, then, of course, you can take
10:41down door number two, so you've got a similar looking door. OK, yeah, it's not the same
10:46door, but it is the same door, except it just looks different. And, of course, it's nice
10:51to have a little bit of a, you know, it's nice to have something that's different, and,
10:56you know, because, obviously, at the end of the day, nobody wants to make a game that
11:00kind of looks like, you know, some other game, not really. And not only that, if you spend
11:06a bit of time working on the graphics, so you can give the actual user a choice and
11:13a better experience, of course, that means your game should be pretty well liked, probably
11:20because they've got a nice choice, they can make a decision for themselves, basically,
11:25that's what they can do. So, you know, some people appreciate that, some people don't,
11:30well, it doesn't really matter if you appreciate it or not. The fact that the choice is there,
11:37that's all that matters. So I think, realistically, so I think, OK, if I build my game world,
11:42like I said, if you're watching my videos, I really, honestly, truly appreciate you.
11:47And if you're one of my subscribers, I want to say hi and welcome. I do appreciate you,
11:52I really, truly do. As I said, I'm trying to build my channel, that's what you want
11:56to do. Of course, my content needs to get a whole lot better, but, as I said, I'm all
12:03over the internet, I'm doing, in real life, I'm all over the internet. I'm doing this,
12:07that, and the other. I'm trying to make time for everything. And I know, obviously, you're
12:12supposed to upload, let's say, a certain amount of videos per day, per year, per year. But
12:19in reality, that seriously can't happen, it can't. Because if you do one thing, you have
12:27to leave somebody else. And of course, if you're trying to make, if you're trying to
12:31become, let's say, let's say you're trying to become really popular on the internet,
12:35just say you're trying to do that, which I'm not. I'm just offering you some free content.
12:40I'm saying, obviously, if you're trying to become, you know, big and famous, of course,
12:44I don't want to do that. Because, you know, I'm not saying it's not good to be famous,
12:49it actually is. But, once that happens, even though you might end up with a great life
12:56at the end of it, but I'm thinking, yeah, but if you look at all of the things that
13:01come with that, I'm thinking, no, no thank you. That's way too much stress for me. I'm
13:07thinking, no thank you. Because people will expect certain things from you. They expect
13:14you to act in a certain way. I think, yeah, no. That's not for me. My videos are my videos
13:21and my downloads are my downloads. And my downloads are your downloads if you want them.
13:27So if you want them, click on them and take them. So here's our second little door. Now
13:32of course, at this moment in time, when I'm giving you a door, you might think, well,
13:37what's the point of giving you a door like this? I'm not just giving you a door. I'm
13:41giving you probably about 30, 40 models inside one model. So if you look at this thing here,
13:47when I show you, because after I've made the object, what I do, I dismantle it. That's
13:55exactly what I do. You're thinking, well, that's completely pointless. Well, it's not
14:00in all honesty, because if you watch what I turn this into, after, even though you've
14:06got a door and you've downloaded it and you've put it in your games, you're thinking, oh
14:09yeah, that's a great looking door. But now when I show you something else that it can
14:13be, you're going to say, actually, you know what? I never even realised that. So yeah.
14:20So as I said, I don't just give you one model. Somebody watch my video thinking, oh no, it's
14:24just another door video. It's about another boring door. Yep. First of all, as I say,
14:30the content I'm sharing, it's not quite what it seems. It is a door. It really is. But
14:39it's also about a big pile of other things. It's a bit like a game quest. Now, I had an
14:46email from somebody, a couple of people. They said they don't actually play the game, but
14:51they don't mind watching my videos. I'm thinking, OK. Now, I don't know if you've already realised
14:57it yet, if you're following the game quest of Emma. Now, the game quest of Emma has already
15:03started. Everybody who's watching my videos is playing the game. I'm thinking, what do
15:09you mean playing the game? You're actually part of the game. You're part of Emma's game.
15:14So I think you say, well, that's a bit misleading. I'm not misleading you. I'm telling you that
15:20when someone says to me they don't actually play games, they actually watch videos, I'm
15:26thinking, yep. So, but you do interact. They say, yeah, I do interact with the videos.
15:32I'm thinking, yep. And Emma's world, Emma's game, it's a video game. That's what it is.
15:41So I'm thinking, OK. So anyway, yeah. You say, well, that's a little bit confusing in
15:47a kind of way. Maybe you're thinking that. I think I don't kind of get it. But you don't
15:53have to get it. You really don't. I'll say, at the end of the whole journey that I'm taking
15:59you on, believe me, I am taking you on a journey. I really am. But I'm not trying to mislead
16:04anybody, just so everybody understands that. But I'm just kind of proving the point that
16:10when someone says they don't kind of play a video game, in all honesty, you do. But
16:17you just don't realise it. OK, yeah, you're not running around with a weapon. And you
16:21don't have to shoot big monsters. And you don't have to try and survive. But really
16:29you do. Except I'm doing it in a completely different way. You say, OK, then. Anyway,
16:37no. The reason why I'm telling you this is because if you play Emma's game, Emma's game
16:43plays in the same way. I said, if you don't understand how the game plays, you won't be
16:50able to do the game. It's going to be extremely, extremely hard. It really will. I said, the
16:56puzzles to unlock my game, I've got three different versions of the same game. So I
17:00said, it's taken me a while to assemble all of the content. I said, I want to make a different
17:06type of game. I want an unusual type of game. One that kind of takes you on a quest. Like
17:13you wouldn't believe. Maybe do things in the game world that you probably wouldn't normally
17:19do. Or maybe it's something you wouldn't even think of. Yeah, anyway, I'm going to take
17:27you through the game world. And I'm going to take you to some magical, mysterious, and
17:33let's say some pretty hair-raising places of linking hair. Yeah, OK. Now, of course,
17:40you're in control of the play button. I don't control that. You do. So if you want to play
17:46the video, great. Play it. If you don't, then don't play it. It's as easy as that. As I
17:54said, even if you're not giving that anyway, all of the content that's available on my
18:00website is absolutely 110% free. As I tell everybody, it's available 24x7, 7 days a week,
18:09365 days a year. And all my content is checked properly to make sure that it's actually appropriate
18:17and makes sure that it don't offend anybody. So I do check all my content. That's exactly
18:23what I do. Like sometimes I run into problems on my YouTube channel because I'm sharing
18:28certain content. Now, anything that involves me and my channel, it also involves, at some
18:36point, my subscribers. And sometimes I have a few issues on my channel, which I do, and
18:43obviously I need to fix my problems. It's not really my problem, it's the channel problem,
18:48but I'm saying either way, I've got to fix the problem because it's my problem. So I'm
18:52thinking again. So, as I said, there's certain things I'm allowed to do, certain things I
18:58can talk about, and certain things which are totally restricted by the UK. How great is
19:04that? So, like I tell you, all of my content is good, nice and true. And I'd like to tell
19:09you, even if I'm allowed to talk about a certain thing, I'm not. If I'm not allowed to talk
19:14about a certain object, a certain thing, a certain website, a certain product, and yet
19:21that is the case when I'm here. Sometimes I can talk about a certain thing, and sometimes
19:25I'm not actually allowed to talk about it. Sometimes I'm not allowed to talk about it,
19:30at the end of the day I'll talk about whatever I want. But I need to do it in a completely
19:35and utterly different way, so I'm not misleading anybody. As I said, I don't mislead anybody
19:41in the first place. So here's our door number two, which didn't take us too long to make
19:46it. So I'm thinking I need to put a smoothing on it, so I'm getting a bit more of a diamond
19:50in the middle, because I don't want it like that, I want it to look like that, so it looks
19:53quite great. But anyway, that's easy fixed. But before I go round, I'm thinking, oh yeah,
19:58that's all done. Not so fast cowboy. This is what you've got to do, go back into normal
20:04mode, go back in here, turn off the colour, go into background here, go to transparency,
20:11now when you turn this on, it shows you all your mistakes. I'm thinking, how great is
20:16that? Now of course, what do you mean it's a mistake? When you go in Blender, if you
20:21ever model in Blender, go in here, turn on back faces, you'll see these faces here, go
20:27back in, click on the model, go back into here, go edit, click on faces, click the faces
20:33that are wrong, go here, and flip it, flip over the normals, they call them normals,
20:39but basically you've got to flip the face, basically the face is upside down. So you've
20:46got to click on here, go here, just left clicky, left clicky, look at the whole thing, make
20:51sure nothing, and make sure you check everything, even the little cracks, because sometimes
20:57you're going to have something that's back to front. Turn it around, look at this side,
21:01oh my word, look at the state of that. Now obviously, it's not going to make it incorrectly,
21:06it's just that, for some reason when you're modelling Blender, it likes to put the faces
21:11back to front, upside down, inside out, and whatever else, instead of just facing everything
21:15the same way. I don't know why it does it, I really don't, it's just like extra work,
21:21I don't mind it because it's not really much work, it's not really much work to do, but
21:27it's still work at the end of the day, you've still got to do it. Now if you only mess up
21:34a couple of pieces, then you're great, because it's not going to take you long to fix it.
21:38But of course, if you've got a massive big item, then you've got to do that. I've got
21:43a different video for that, so if you've got a big item and you've got to flip over basically
21:48almost every single face, I've got a video for that to make life a whole lot easier.
21:54So if we're looking at it, I think now it looks nice. Yep, I think I can just get away
22:00with that. OK, so that's our door, now we can go back into the paint shop. Well, we're
22:06not going to paint shop, we're just going to turn back on the colour. Go back in here,
22:10turn on the material, turn that off, you don't need it on now, you can leave it on if you
22:14want to, well, it doesn't matter, I don't need to check the windows, but I will leave
22:18it on, then I want to bring the windows back in, I'll bring that window back in. Now, I'm
22:24just going to check it, just to make sure that it's not acting back to front. As you
22:29can see, the windows are turned on, we can't see through the windows, and they're not actually
22:34transparent, so I think it's perfect. So, that's basically, that's all we need to do,
22:42all we have to do is, if it works, then it's great, if it doesn't work, then I'll show
22:48you. What we want to do is take these and put them inside, so click, click, click off,
22:53click off everything, click the window, go over here, go to new, make a new material,
22:58put the shield on it, go here, alpha, done. So one goes to zero, and the zero goes to
23:07one, two, three, click off it, it goes transparent, half and half, go to the bottom, turn off
23:14roughness, here, alpha, alpha is zero, and zero is one, two, three, click off it, the
23:25window should change, just like that, because now it's a sheet of glass, how great is that?
23:32You know what, sometimes when I do that, it doesn't work, I said you can click it here,
23:36don't do that, click it here, go here, new, if you want to double click it, you can name
23:41it, go here, alpha, change, don't forget, one, is zero, and zero is one, two, three.
23:52As I said, it gives you kind of the transparency of water, go back to the bottom, turn roughness
23:56off, back in, back into alpha, turn it to one, turn zero into one, two, three, watch
24:06the window, ding, perfect, now of course, we can have this as a metal plate, machinery,
24:15we can have this thing do loads of things, look at that face, you see that face down
24:20there, look at that, let me go back and check that, because even though it's a motor, I'm
24:29not happy with that, see that crease in there, I don't like that crease in there, it actually
24:35looks like a hole, see, you see the line, I don't actually think there's a fence there,
24:42I don't think there is, so I'm going to check that, as I said, I don't want to share it
24:47with anyone else, I think there's a hole in it, yep, there's definitely a hole in that,
24:54so click on this, just check the face first, like that, click this, click on here, is that
25:01the back face, no, so there is a face on it, just flip the face over, so that face is back
25:10really don't look right, you see that gap in between it, I'll fix it in a moment, I'll
25:21work out what's going on with it, no, I definitely don't like it, I just don't, I want to delete
25:31that, because I don't like it, this one is perfect I think, let me just rejoin this,
25:40because as I said, I don't like it, see like that, that's how it should look, see when
25:48you turn it sideways, you shouldn't have a gap in it, as I said, I don't want anything
25:54to kind of mess around like that, so as I said, I don't want to give you a model and
25:58then work out that you've got to keep it a hole in it, so I think, no thank you, it's
26:02not going to look good in the game, it doesn't matter where your doors are, it's going to
26:06be dark anyway, you wouldn't see it, or again, it's not the point, the point is, I don't
26:11want a hole in it, because when you turn the lights on, it's going to shine right through
26:15the crack, so I think, no thank you, ok, the door is perfect, so now all we have to do
26:23is bring in, so we've got door number two, which is absolutely fantastic, take these
26:28two, lefty hold righty, hold the control button, right side of the keyboard, take that one,
26:33go here, parent, object, yes, so now we're parenting it, so now if we move the door,
26:40we move the glass, now of course we need the door handles, we need these, so I think, ok,
26:46put the door handles on it, so see, ooh, now it looks nice doesn't it, now of course we
26:51know the doors that way, I think, ok, so we've got a smooth running on now, as I said,
26:56don't forget, if you get the doors, like I tell you in the video, if you go to edit,
27:00if you go into the door, and click the ring, click all the faces, on these faces here,
27:06so we've checked all these faces, ooh they're very neat, go to side view, go to extrude,
27:13and extrude it out once, leave snapping zone on, just go here, extrude it once, and of
27:21course, now if you look at the door handles, the bar, because I've hit the bar, the bar's
27:27here, the door's perfect, not wrong with it, so as you can see, when you pull it out once,
27:31look, it looks pretty big, it's not actually that far out, it's really not, but if you
27:35need you can always just push it back slightly, but as I said, you can pull the ring out of
27:40the door, that's what it's in there for, that's in my game world, yeah, when you complete
27:46the door, when you complete the level, each time you do a little part of the level, one
27:52of these here, one of these things here, actually comes out of the door, and when you complete
27:58the entire ring, the door itself will turn, the entire ring, both doors, both rings will
28:05turn gold, that means the level is 110% complete, so anyway, if you walk in the room, and basically
28:13you see my door, and it looks something like this, where's my collar, where's my collar,
28:22come on, where is it, I don't know where my collar is, try to go to material, and of course
28:30I should have material, so let me take a look at my door, is that my door, I think that
28:35is my door, open the door, click on material, ok, so for some reason my door's gone white,
28:43click here, go here, now if I go back into live view, I should be able to see, I'm in
28:50live view, no I'm not, go into live view, as I said the door should be black like that,
28:55so anyway, so we've got door number 1, we've got door number 2, and we've also got door
29:00number 3, so this is door number 2, it's kind of grey, what it's missing, like I said to
29:05you, it's missing the door handles, so I'm going to go here, I'm going to go here, parent,
29:14appear parent, take these two, hold control, click the door, go here, parent the handles
29:24to the door, now these should be parented, so if you grab hold of them, put them on top,
29:30they'll disappear, to go inside the door look, and now if I take the door, I've got everything,
29:36I've got the door, the handles, now all that's missing is the door frame, which is right
29:41there, so now what I do is go down here, don't delete that, that's the door frame, go here,
29:46delete this, and that just leaves the door frame, now all I have to do is take this one,
29:54and parent it to this one, so take this one, go here, hold control, click that, go here,
30:01parent, now don't parent with all the weights, just go here, parent object, just grab, just
30:08left click, hold it, drag it, just drag it down, and it'll go inside, the thing, left
30:12click, hold it, drag it, drag it down, and everything goes inside the actual room, so
30:17now if I click on my door frame, I can move the whole tile up, without any problem, so
30:23now when I add the animation to the door, as you can see the door is not animated yet,
30:28but again when we animate the door, everything is going to work absolutely fantastic, great,
30:34so if you want to come back and let's say make a part of the video, I will actually
30:39show you how to animate the actual door, if you want to see that, and then as soon as
30:44I animate it, I'll be making the doors available, so you've got door 1, door 2, door 3, all
30:50available on the cloud, you can download them separately if you want to, or you can just
30:55download it as a whole set, so it's entirely up to you, they're only small anyway, and
30:59of course if you want to, don't forget the door frame here, of course you've got this
31:04blue, it's just default, it's a standard colour, of course you can change the glass, you don't
31:10have to do that, so as I said to change this, go in here, go edit, now of course if you
31:15want to paint these different colours, all you have to do is select the square you want,
31:19take off that, select the square you want, now you can extrude it out the floor if you
31:25want to, so you've got like 3D slabs on the floor, if you want to do that, that's why
31:31it's made like this, so when in my world I've extruded all of these slabs, so they're all
31:37lifted up one square, now of course you can add more to the same colour, or you can do
31:43stagger on, like this, so when you stagger it like that, you can paint them different
31:50colours, so it's up to you, if you want it that way, you might want these two, maybe
31:56these two are one colour, maybe these two are a different colour, but it's up to you
32:01however easy you want to go about doing the floor, it's entirely optional, it's entirely
32:06up to you, so as I said, it might be good to do it that way, it might be good to do
32:11anyway, once you select the one you want, right click, split it, and then right click
32:18again and separate it, what it'll do, it'll give you a brand new model of this part, once
32:25you've done that, all you have to do is, let's say you've got one here, and you split it
32:30and you click it again, and go separate it, let's say this was the new model, well let's
32:35say this was the model, what you would do is click on it, hold ctrl, click the doorframe,
32:41you would click this one, obviously go back into object mode, go here, and you would parent
32:47it, go parent object, parent that square that you just selected, back to this one, go back
32:54in, change the colour, and that's it, I'm going to show you how to do it exactly, so
33:00anyway, come back in the next part of the video and I'm going to show you the animation
33:03part, how to animate door number one, how to animate door number two, and then I'm going
33:08to basically just show you how to colour the actual doorframe, and I'm going to show you
33:14how to do the form, just to let you know that, and then you've basically got the form, basically
33:21working version of the entire lot, that's just the whole inside of the doorframe, you
33:27don't need to fill it, you really don't, if you want to fill it, you can, just go underneath
33:31fill it, anyway, how do you say, thumbs up, thumbs down, subscribe, don't subscribe, the
33:34choice is yours, I want to keep it that way, keep text friendly, keep reading text, and
33:38thank you very much, see you soon, bye.
