00:00Almost half a million pesos worth of stolen batteries were found in two subcontractors of a cell site company in Rizal.

00:20In this van, the police recovered the stolen batteries used in a cell site in Tanay, Rizal.
00:28Almost half a million or Php 480,000 is the total value of the recovered rectifier batteries.
00:36According to the police, they received a call from a cell site company in Barangay Plaza, Aldea last Tuesday.
00:44And it was said that they were robbed by two men working as subcontractors of the company.
00:51Two suspects were arrested, known as Lennon, 31 years old, and Eman, 35 years old.
00:59They gave the details of the vehicle and upon response of the patrol troops, they intercepted the vehicle and retrieved the batteries.
01:13Inside, they saw the batteries inside their vehicle. And immediately, the troops pulled them out.
01:21According to the police, the two suspects were involved in the maintenance of the cell site.
01:25Based on the investigation, the suspects were selling the stolen rectifier batteries to households that use solar panels.
01:35According to one of the suspects, there were no robberies.
01:39They were only set up by the guards who complained to the company.
01:43The guards just ordered to take out a scrap from Telco Company.
01:49There were no robberies because we thought that they were legally asking us to take it out.
01:54But when we took it out, we were suddenly arrested. So it was really set up.

02:02they needed money to sell the batteries to us, the junk shop.
02:09They said that they will split the money.
02:11According to the police, based on the complaint of the company,
02:15the suspects were involved in the previous incident of stealing batteries from their cell site.

02:26That's why they are eager to arrest our suspects.
02:31At the custodial facility of Tanay Municipal Police Station,
