00:00The great British Festival in Taguig was held on the 24th of Philippine-UK Friendship Day.

00:16From delicious food, rich culture, tradition, and colorful scenery,

00:22these are the stars of The Great British Festival in BGC, Taguig City,

00:28which is part of the celebration of the 24th of Philippine-UK Friendship Day yesterday.

00:33Fifty-seven companies participated in the festival,

00:36including British companies that are active in the Philippines,

00:39and Filipino companies that have operations in the UK.

00:42Raymond James Scott, a teacher from the UK, has been in the Philippines for 14 months.

00:48Even though he has only been in the country for a short time, he learned how much the Philippines loves him.

01:11According to UK Ambassador to the Philippines, Lor Bufis,

01:15this festival is a chance for Filipinos and Britons to show their friendship.

01:35The relationship between the Philippines and the UK is stronger and stronger.

01:46Like cyber security, we're doing a lot more in maritime security,

01:50so the breadth and depth of our relationship is growing at all times.

01:54We're here to stay.

01:55In terms of trade and investments, the Philippines and the UK have a good relationship

01:59when it comes to infrastructure, renewable energy, and agriculture.

02:03According to the UK Embassy, there are more than 200,000 Filipinos in the UK,

02:08most of whom are healthcare workers.

02:10There are still a lot of Filipinos studying in the UK,

02:13and they are encouraging others to study there as well.
