00:00Several parts of the Philippines were affected by the Christine typhoon that caused severe flooding in other parts of the country.

00:07Local governments continue to distribute relief packages to those affected by the said typhoon.

00:13Floyd Brent of QTV has the details of the national news.

00:18Even though it is far away, it is felt that in some parts of the country,

00:22the impact of the recent tropical depression Christine is the first typhoon in the month of October.

00:29In fact, the number one signal in some parts of the Philippines is already high.

00:35In Palawan, the road to Barangay Iraan in the town of Rizal was flooded

00:41due to the heavy rain caused by the typhoon.

00:44Some motorists had a hard time getting around.

00:49In the town of Magpet in North Cotabato, the area of Barangay Bantak was also almost flooded.

00:55More than 30 houses were damaged.

00:58Others were even flooded.

01:00In this video, the water level of the river was so high under the narrow and thin roof

01:06that it also caused fear among the residents.

01:10In North Cotabato, Bulol Elementary School in the town of Pikit was already flooded.

01:17The Bacolod City LGU reached the area of Barangay Sumag where some families were evacuated.

01:25Residents in affected areas are continuously being warned to be alert

01:31and if possible to evacuate to nearby evacuation centers.

01:35The local government continues to remember the impact of the Christine typhoon.
