00:00Thank you so much for your time, I appreciate it. Welcome to the Pride of Britain Awards.
00:04Have you been briefed on what to expect tonight and importantly are you prepared for a good cry?
00:09Oh I'm not sure on either of those actually. I mean yes I am looking forward to it. I haven't
00:16been briefed just yet but you know I like surprises. Well we're going to be inspired
00:20by a lot of stories from the British public and can I ask who's inspired you in 2024?
00:25Oh loads of things. I think for me more of a personal aspect of my life. I've been inspired
00:31by a lot of people that I'm near. I'm near close to as well. People have gone through stuff.
00:36I would say probably that to be honest. And 2024 is surely like a momentous year for you in
00:41general. You're a life-changing year. How has life changed pre and post summer? Oh as you can imagine
00:46complete 360. But I'm adapting pretty well. I'm embracing it. A lot of it is love and I
00:52appreciate that. I can't complain. I can't complain. How does it feel to be walking down
00:56the street and be stopped and recognised? How do you deal with that? You just deal with it. I'll
01:00tell you what. You just deal with it. The hardest part I'll tell you is when you have them days
01:04where you just want to be lazy and not wear anything and then you're just getting stopped
01:06and seen by everyone. Those are probably the hardest moments. That's the day you'll get.
01:11How has it been keeping up with your fellow Islanders at this point? Who are you seeing
01:15on a regular basis? To be honest all of us are so busy but it's good when we meet up.
01:19I saw IO. I saw Omar. I saw some of the boys recently. All the girls. All the boys are really
01:24smashing it. So it's quite hard to keep up with everyone but when we get events like this
01:27it's a great opportunity for us to catch up. Does getting recognised and getting stopped
01:31happen more when you are a collective? Yes definitely and when you're taller than what
01:35people think. Yeah because a lot of people thought I was short for some reason on the show.
01:39Yeah I get that quite a lot but yeah definitely. And when it comes to kind of the future you know
01:43you are recognised now. Have you got projects lined up? Have you got plans? What can you tell us?
01:48For sure we're working a lot on the fashion space. Hopefully you'll soon see me in the acting
01:53space or in the entertainment space as well. Can you tell us about the acting space? I'm very
01:57curious about that. You've got to wait and see. I love my time in the villa. I'm very comfortable
02:03in front of the camera as well so I'm looking at exploring a lot of that in the near coming future
02:07as well but also I want to really nail my foot in the fashion space as well. That's something I'm
02:11really passionate about and I see myself excelling in that soon. I can't wait for you. I'm excited
02:15for you. Thank you. Enjoy tonight. Thank you.
