00:00Not only do we have, like, you know, the hallmark, you know, quintessential Christmas elements to this,
00:05but it also showcases what life is like for a single mom and how hard it can be and how much pressure that not only single moms, every moms,
00:14but there's this moment where you're kind of like, you know, I have sleepless nights.
00:18I have these chocolate cravings, these frizzy hair moments.
00:21Do you feel that way as a mom?
00:23Oh my gosh, absolutely.
00:26Um, that's one thing I love about this movie is that you can see, um, you know, we call them the Pinterest moms where everything just looks perfect.
00:37Like the kids' lunches.
00:39I remember seeing this mom at the grocery store, like, you know, 7.30 in the morning or something.
00:45Her hair was all blown out, her nails done, her clothes, and I'm like, wow, that's amazing.
00:51That's amazing that you can look like that.
00:53Or the stroller that doesn't have one crumb in it.
00:56It's like, it's perfect.
00:58Do you wash it every night?
00:59Like, what?
01:01That's amazing.
01:02Um, I love that in that moment.
01:05First, she said, you know, if you're that kind of mom, great.
01:10That's wonderful.
01:11But please don't.
01:12Oh, I'm getting emotional.
01:13Oh my gosh.
01:16I don't know why.
01:18Please don't judge us moms who aren't.
01:21I don't know why I'm getting emotional.
01:22Sorry.
01:23Um, but I loved that scene because of that.
01:27Um, she said, um, I know that there are other moms who think that, you know, I'm, I can't
01:33do this, I can't do that, but I'm doing my best.
01:37And you can see that.
01:38You can see that with Angela.
01:40She, that's, that's her number one goal.
01:42I have no idea why I got emotional about that.
01:44But, um, yeah.
01:48But it's so true.
01:48I think, I think you're getting emotional because like, you know, we all just try our
01:52best.
01:52We're all just doing exactly what we can in the moment.
01:56Like this morning, my kid had no shoes on when I put him in the car.
01:58And I'm like, I'm doing my best.
02:00My kid, actually, we dropped him off at school with no shoes on.
02:05So it's happened more than once, ironically, where we've been like down the street and
02:11we've had to turn around and we've been late.
02:14But my kid was at school and we were like, oh my gosh, well, we got to go to Marshall's.
02:20We got, we got, we got to go.
02:23And, uh, but the beauty of, um, motherhood and expressing that, uh, in movies like this
02:31is realizing you're not alone.
02:33Realizing that, you know, it happens.
02:36And as long as you're, you're doing your best, you're trying and your children feel loved.
02:43That's the number one thing.
