01:06Will Agatha Harkness finally meet her end?
01:11Welcome back everyone, it's Charlie.
01:12Marvel just dropped a brand new Agatha all along trailer all about Billy Maximoff aka
01:18Wiccan from the comics.
01:19So we'll break it all down.
01:21They're calling it the midseason trailer.
01:22So there's a bunch of footage from the rest of the season in this, but they mix in some
01:26old footage to mostly confirming a lot of theories that people had about who the characters
01:31are and what's going on in general and how this ties to Wandavision Scarlet Witch what
01:35Billy really wants on the road why he's walking the road in the first place literally that's
01:40how they start the trailer with Agatha Harkness saying what does Billy Maximoff want at the
01:45end of the road like what's his wish that he's going to make then there's footage to
01:49explain how Billy came back after the events of Wandavision if he seemingly died when the
01:54hex came down like we literally see those events take place.
01:57So it seems that the largely cover that during episode six and that'll be a little bit like
02:01Wandavision episode eight where they did the tour of Wanda's backstory to explain how she
02:06got to where she is with the Avengers in vision in present day how she wound up in Westview
02:11in the first place how she created the hex.
02:13So prepare yourself for a really big flashback episode and then obviously they get on with
02:19Lillia's trial which seems like it'll be episode seven that episode eight will probably
02:23be a lot of big reveals about what's going on with Rios death character because we all
02:27believe that she's playing the cosmic entity death or mistress death from the MCU literally
02:32during the trailer.
02:33She says all roads lead to me is in all roads eventually lead to death like you will all
02:38eventually die that leaves episode nine like the actual finale for them just wrapping up
02:43all the storylines.
02:44But remember the actually airing episode eight and episode nine back-to-back at the same
02:49time in that final week me they'll probably just play like one big story split into two.
02:54I'm kind of wondering now to if Rio is going to get her own trial because technically the
02:59rules for the way that she exists on the road or little bit different from the other witches
03:03of the coven technically Rio is not a witch.
03:06She's a cosmic entity one of the most powerful cosmic entities.
03:10So the whole idea is that she's not bound to a lot of the same rules of the road that
03:14the others are, but a little bit like she is bound to some rules of magic as she explained
03:19earlier in the episode that was why the summoning spell selected her randomly because she just
03:23happen to be the closest most powerful being nearby that was also meant to be a bit of
03:27a joke to tongue-in-cheek because as a cosmic entity death.
03:30She's omnipresent as in she is everywhere like death is everywhere all around you in
03:36the Rio were seeing here is probably just a manifestation that she chooses to put herself
03:41in this physical body that can interact with other characters at any given time.
03:45But her true cosmic consciousness is vast like across the entire universe.
03:50But there's a different version of death in every single universe.
03:53So she's not like a multiversal being is the same way with a lot of the other cosmic entities
03:58to like there's one version of eternity in every single universe eternity is sort of
04:03like the living embodiment of the entire universe.
04:05So if you talking about cosmic hierarchy eternity would be above the cosmic entity
04:10death in terms of power.
04:11But that was why we saw mistress death statue in the temple of cosmic entities during Thor
04:16love and thunder.
04:17So couple key things here at the beginning of the trailer when Agatha calls Billy out
04:21as Billy Maximoff not is Billy Kaplan.
04:24So what it seems that they're changing from the comics is just the way they're explaining
04:28his character in present day here in the comics Billy Wanda's child is resurrected in the
04:34body of Billy Kaplan completely separate person was like young Billy Maximoff soul
04:39put into Billy Kaplan's teenage body without him knowing that he's Billy Maximoff he doesn't
04:45find that out till later on the show.
04:47It seems like the way they're explaining this in the MCU is that young Billy's body was
04:52destroyed when the hex came down like you see the hex coming down during this trailer
04:56footage.
04:57So we're seeing like the very end of Wanda vision here when Wanda took the hex down young
05:00Billy and Tommy's bodies were destroyed, but their spirits lived on and it seems like
05:06what happened here the way they're explaining this is that we see Joe Locke teenage character
05:10here is Billy Kaplan completely separate person inside the MCU at this point in the car with
05:16his mother who's also a Kaplan their driving to Eastview like he said earlier in the series
05:21he's from Eastview as the hex comes down chaos ensues they get into a car accident and it
05:27seems like Billy is killed in that car accident.
05:30So getting back to Rio being death you have to imagine that death comes to claim his soul
05:34because he's dead.
05:35Now this is Billy Kaplan RIP leaving this empty husk of a body in while that's happening
05:40the hex is coming down young Billy Maximoff's body is destroyed his soul just zooms into
05:47Billy Kaplan's teenage body.
05:49So it's young Billy Maximoff spirit just borrowing Billy Kaplan's body in this whole time during
05:56Wandavision he's the person that put the sigil on himself so that he couldn't give
06:00away any secrets because it sounds like he wanted to walk the road in order to try and
06:04find a way to bring his mother scarlet which in his brother Tommy back to because Tommy
06:10doesn't have magic the way that Billy has magic.
06:12So if it wasn't clear.
06:13I think this trailer is telling us that this whole time Billy knew that he had magic had
06:18this power and he was just hiding all these things from Agatha and the other witches using
06:23the sigil to try and help him do that.
06:25And now that's all come down.
06:26So when he manifests his magical crown like scarlet which is crown inserts throwing them
06:31all into the mud.
06:32He always had that power and was just hiding that from them.
06:35Now he's the most powerful person on the road with them, but he's always been the most powerful
06:40person on the road with them.
06:41They're just learning that now and it seems like he thinks of himself as Billy Maximoff
06:47like he's not gonna go around calling himself Billy Kaplan or anything like that.
06:50So I'm guessing that in the MCU they've swerved on the reincarnation aspect of it and it just
06:56winds up being young Billy's spirit jumping into Billy Kaplan's teenage body and earlier
07:02in the series when he told the other witches that a lot has happened to him in the last
07:06three years.
07:07What is really talking about this body died and he also died inside the hex in his spirit
07:11just jumped into this other body.
07:13So he's been trying to get used to that and he's been trying to find a way to bring his
07:16brother Tommy back and then his mother.
07:19So a lot has happened since the end of Wandavision because that happened three years ago.
07:23Also three years ago is when Agatha was put back into the spell by Scarlet witch like
07:27a lot has happened to all of them in the past three years.
07:30Now notice when Agatha is questioning him here she's covered in mud walking down the
07:34road to confront him meaning this is after they are rescued from the mud themselves.
07:39But there's actually a scene later where you see Lillia and Jennifer underground covered
07:44in mud.
07:45So it seems like when they get thrown to the mud.
07:46They just sink below into this underneath place beneath the road is a bunch of laundry
07:51carts down there to see kind of wonder what's going on in this room.
07:54It feels a little bit like the labyrinth movie when she was thrown all over the place all
07:58these deep dark rooms like this is whole under layer beneath the road itself.
08:03Then we see Billy's hand because he has the two rings on his finger drawing the circle
08:07getting ready to cast this incantation is probably the precursor to this scene where
08:11you actually see the hex symbol with the blue energy of his magic when he says power doesn't
08:16interest him.
08:17He's just eventually revealing why he's on the road in the first place.
08:20He's basically trying to find a way to bring his brother Tommy and his mother back.
08:24I think is we all theorize when he says he wants something else something more like I
08:28said they cut that together with the scene of Agatha and Billy in what looks like another
08:31trial this seems like Billy's trial inside a space that looks like a morgue which is
08:36probably connected to the way they explain how he came back like what I see a lot of
08:40metaphors here for Billy Kaplan's dead body that young Billy soul just jumps into after
08:45the events of WandaVision I'm also assuming that when this happens to the two of them
08:49Jennifer and Lillia are still trapped below ground while this is happening.
08:54Otherwise they be in here too.
08:56It looks like her putting her hands on his head has something to do with unlocking memories
09:00or some knowledge that he doesn't have available to him at the moment is a couple different
09:05scenes of the Salem seven attacking them inside this makeshift castle which seems like it's
09:09from Lillia's trial they all play which is from different pop culture movies this castle
09:14they see on the horizon seems like Lillia's trial this scene of her covered in mud laughing
09:19with her hands in the air is probably after she makes her way out of the mud.
09:23Remember she has a little bit of power, but Billy also might pull her out because he needs
09:28her specifically he did not need the other witches though all because she successfully
09:33walk the road before, but the other witches have not he reveals that he has entrusted
09:37her this whole time we get that scene of her saying that he's just like scarlet which his
09:43mother again, which we got an episode five will probably get a couple more scarlet which
09:47Wanda name drops to like there were a bunch of Wanda name drops during the first episode.
09:52There's a funny pratfall for saying get ready for fireworks than falling on her face.
09:56There's a scene of Agatha having her pratfall she still covered in mud.
10:00Also you see Jennifer behind her.
10:02So at this point Billy has rescued the other witches to when she mentions fireworks.
10:07There's that scene they've been putting in all the trailers of Rio in more of like a
10:11mistress death type of comic book costume walking away from the exploding house and
10:15if you couldn't tell that is meant to be Rio in this outfit when she says spectacle this
10:20footage seems like it's actually Agatha in the 1800s fighting the daughters of liberty
10:26which she mentioned in earlier episode how she got that scar fighting them basically
10:30killing them taking their power RIP to all these witches they cut it with a totally different
10:35scene of her also stealing someone's magic, but she's in a leather jacket which is seems
10:39like it's happening later in the timeline will probably get more back at this back story
10:43across the timeline in future episodes just to explain what she was doing era to era mostly
10:49killing other witches and stealing their power.
10:50It sounds like briefly stop for a hot second to have a baby named Nicholas scratch though
10:56still waiting to get more Nikki scratch back story not sure what's happening here with
11:01this exploding house and her just covered in all these different cuts.
11:05This seems like it's something that's happening in present day like I said we get that scene
11:09of Rio saying all roads lead to me because she is probably mistress death as in everybody
11:15eventually dies everyone will eventually meet her these scenes of her with the green fire
11:21in the green outfit seems like it's from the 1800s flashbacks also maybe some flashbacks
11:26to her during the events of the Salem witch trials in when Agatha eventually killed her
11:30mother's coven just explain how she met Agatha like how did Agatha wind up running into the
11:35cosmic entity death.
11:37What was the beginning of their relationship because it sounds like they knew each other
11:41for a long time like they were together for a long time.
11:44Then she has Nicholas scratch something happens to him.
11:46He winds up dying and she's forced to claim him because she is death like that's part
11:51of her job as she said then they split up because Agatha hates her for it and she goes
11:55on to the events of one division trying to steal scarlet which is power using the dark
11:59old sounds like her whole reason for that was because she wanted to find a way to bring
12:03Nicholas scratch back from the dead.
12:06There's been a lot of speculation about who this mystery guy is in the hat with the jacket
12:10faced around because he's so tall and lanky looking with the longer hair.
12:14This might just be Billy trying to disguise himself just because in all these trailers
12:18how many other brand-new male characters have you met during the series.
12:22Not that many most of all the weird trailer shots of their showing of all these characters
12:26from different angles and trying to obscure faces are of the main characters and Billy
12:31is just one of the main characters.
12:33So this does wind up being a version of Billy disguising himself.
12:36This might just be early on after he first jumped into Billy Kaplan's body.
12:41There's a scene of a bunch of vines grabbing Agatha with blood all over her.
12:44My assumption that all the vines has something to do with Rio because the end the trailer
12:48here when the showing all this footage of Agatha being all bloodied up.
12:51There's the voiceover from Rio saying will Agatha Harkness finally meet her end like
12:55will she finally die.
12:57There's a bigger fight scene inside Lillia's trial with the Salem seven.
13:01This scene might be a flashback to the younger version of Lillia just because she looks similar
13:05to Lillia from the previous flashbacks.
13:07We get a much better look at them inside Lillia's trial to see which characters there portraying.
13:11So Agatha is the wicked witch of the West from wizard of Oz Lillia is Glinda the good
13:16witch of the North Billy is Maleficent from sleeping beauty and it looks like Jennifer
13:21is the wicked witch from snow white.
13:23I'm assuming all the swords falling is just something from the actual trial itself just
13:27the way it works.
13:29I'm not sure what Rio is doing on top of this house cackling, but notice she's also wearing
13:33another hood always wearing hoods because you see death depicted wearing hoods in the
13:38comics all the time.
13:40You also notice that the entire sky is green.
13:42So this might she might be from one of the final episodes.
13:45There's a bunch of new footage those of those anything that you spotted in the Easter eggs
13:48or references or big questions you have that I didn't address in this video write them
13:52below in the comments in my full episode six video will post on Wednesday morning after
13:56they release it.
13:58Like I said prime mostly going to be a big Billy episode to explain the rest of how he
14:02got to where he is in present day like how did he come back after the events of Wanda
14:06vision.
14:07What is he doing on the road in the first place like how's it gonna bring Tommy back.
14:10How's it gonna bring scarlet witch back Joe Locke also did an interview just about his
14:14Billy Wiccan character to explain the not doing any specific comic book arcs for the
14:18Agatha Coven of chaos series.
14:20He specifically mention young avengers the children's crusade because that was the story
14:25where Billy and Tommy realize that their twins and they realize the scarlet which is
14:29their mother and they try to find a way to save her Doctor doom was also a big part of
14:33that story.
14:34But I think the reason why they're not adapting that for any of what's happening right now
14:38with like Agatha Coven of chaos or the vision quest series is because they're saving some
14:42of that plot for a big movie like they're supposed to be big scarlet witch movie.
14:47So we might see some of that rolled into what that winds up turning into.
14:51He also said he just really jazzed up to come back and do more big marvel stuff in
14:55the movies and future TV shows to select obviously this isn't the last time you're gonna see
14:59Billy inside the MCU my early theory right now is that they'll bring Tommy back on another
15:04upcoming TV show at some point in the same type of twist where his spirit just comes
15:09into another person's body is a bunch of big stuff coming up though everyone click here
