00:00In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
00:28Has there reached you the report of the overwhelming event?
00:36Some faces that day will be humbled,
00:44Working hard and exhausted.
00:54They will enter to burn in an intensely hot fire.
01:02They will be given drink from a boiling spring.
01:13For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant,
01:25Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.
01:34Other faces that day will show pleasure.
01:40With their effort they are satisfied
01:47In an elevated garden
01:53Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.
02:01Within it is a flowing spring.
02:09Within it are couches raised high
02:16And cups put in place
02:22And cushions lined up
02:27And carpets spread around.
02:36Then do they not look at the camels, how they are created?
02:40And at the sky, how it is raised.
02:49And at the mountains, how they are erected.
02:56And at the earth, how it is spread out.
03:03So remind, O Muhammad! You are only a reminder.
03:15You are not over them a controller,
03:22Except him who turns away and disbelieves.
03:30Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.
03:39Indeed, to Us is their return.
03:48Then indeed, upon Us is their account.
03:59Al Fatiha.
