00:27I mean, the NBA is back. You have to go with two of the top players that you're going to see tonight. I know there's a ton of them with these, the marquee games with the top teams in the league, but LeBron James, Anthony Edwards, this is going to be a phenomenal game.
00:39LeBron first game of the season in I believe two of his last four or five games, three of his last five, he has scored 30 plus points. So he goes off opening night, wants to make a statement. Anthony Edwards, same thing.
00:52He's the star of that team, especially with Carl Anthony Towns now moved. This is Anthony Edwards team officially, if it wasn't, if it wasn't already. And so you're going to need a big night from the Ant-Man if you want to, if Minnesota wants to win this game.
01:05So just a little sprinkle, something fun to kick off the NBA season, Matt. That's what we always say. And I think it's worth it tonight.
01:12Yeah, I definitely don't mind that. I mean, you are the NBA expert here. I'm not a huge NBA better, but I could see this happening. I mean, Anthony Edwards, as far as I know, his pretty much one job on the court is to score points like that is like the big thing he does.
01:25And then LeBron, I mean, yes, he's older now. He's not the same player he used to be at all. But I think in order to keep up with the Timberwolves, they're probably going to have to score a bunch. And he's obviously going to be one of their top scoring options. So, again, like you said, maybe a sprinkle, quarter unit, half unit. Don't mind it.

02:32Celtics minus five and a half. It is banner night. It is ring night. It is the night the Celtics are going to celebrate winning the championship. They are not losing this game, and they're not losing by more than five or six points. So minus five and a half. I think tonight is a good bet against the Knicks on opening nights.
02:50They are also five and one straight up and four one and one against the spread in their last six games against the Knicks. The Knicks do have some new additions in Bridges and Carl Anthony Towns, but I still think the Celtics team is not going to let them ruin their championship celebration. Plus, the Knicks have lost each of their last six road openers as underdogs. So I'm taking Celtics minus five.
03:14I like that one, Lucy, because the Knicks do have some new pieces that they're working to integrate into that new offense. They haven't, you know, Carl Anthony Towns has not been there very long. Mikael Bridges shot is like, he tried to fix that over the off season. It's not looking too good. So I do like the Celtics tonight, but I also like the Timberwolves tonight. A little bit of a homer play being from Minnesota. I love Anthony Edwards. But I mean, this morning, the magazine cover with Justin Jefferson and Anthony Edwards dropped.
03:41You don't think Anthony Edwards is going to go out and have a big game tonight, right?
03:46They are upset with how their season ended last year, losing in the conference finals. They are one of the favorites to win the title this year, or at least in that conversation this year. And I think they're going to want to make a massive statement to the league early on. So even though they're on the road, even though the line is moving against me, we're down to just minus one, one and a half at various places.
04:04I just grabbed Minnesota on the money line. You lay a little extra juice, but I think it's worth it. I think the Timberwolves get the win in LA tonight.
04:11Yeah, there you go. I hear Anthony Edwards wants to retire from basketball after he wins a ring and play football in the NFL. Pretty funny stuff. He could definitely do that. We will see for sure, Anthony.
04:23I'm going to go to the ice because I don't bet NBA, like I said, Panthers and the Wild. I'm going to go with the Minnesota Wild money line here. They're getting around plus 130 right now or so on the money line. Panthers have played decently lately. They've won at least three of their last five games without Alexander Barkov and Matthew Pachuk.
04:45But they haven't really actually like outplayed their opponents in these wins. And that's the thing with hockey is that you you win games play at times where you actually get outplayed in the game. It's it's absolutely insane. They have a goal differential of minus one and a 47.37 expected goal share. So not the greatest in the world.
05:05Minnesota so far this year, they own the league's fifth best expected goal share and they have the best expected goals against through 60 in the league. Philip Gustafson has been fantastic in the net. And I don't think the Panthers should be laying minus 150 here without two of their biggest stars going up against the Wild. So I'm going to take the plus 130 on the money line with Minnesota.
