00:40compared to two very maligned either individuals or groups.

00:51Both have been doubted.
00:52I'd say the defense has been more doubted.
00:54Hurts has been more discussed.
00:57But this thing is because we know, as John pointed out,
01:00skilled position players on offense, not an issue.
01:03Not only not an issue, an incredible, unique, borderline, all-time
01:08health is an issue for us.
01:10Advantage, yeah, but that's a strange one.
01:13I'm not going to get bogged down on that in the middle part of October.
01:17They have Saquon Barkley.
01:19They have A.J. Brown.
01:21That is such an enormous advantage.
01:23They appear to still have a pretty good offensive line.
01:26They have some other skilled position players like Goddard when he's healthy,
01:29Devontae Smith.
01:30They give you a shot.
01:32I mean, even Gaywell the other day looked good.
01:34But, like, this thing is going to come down to Hurts and the defense.
01:37And one thing I'll ask you today is which do you have more confidence in?
01:41Hurts or the defense moving forward?
01:42I think people will probably be pretty split there.
01:45Look, I know the team's in proof.
01:47I know it.
01:48I've seen it, God, in my lifetime probably seven to ten times where there's
01:52been a big jump by an Eagles team during a season.
01:55We saw it in 2021.
01:56We saw it.
01:57We saw it three years ago.
01:59So I remain hopeful on that basis.
02:02I know that the division probably won't run away from the Eagles.
02:05I know that the third wild card means the Eagles should be in this thing the
02:08whole way.
02:09I mean, whether they make the playoffs or not, we'll see.
02:11They certainly should be in it the whole way.
02:13I'm just not yet prepared to say they're more than average.
02:17But my eyes, John, are starting to open up.
