00:00Something extraordinary an apology from a celebrity. Yes. It is definitely an apology
00:06But Ariana Grande was called out by Elvira
00:10We told you about this that Elvira was recounting a story from as she put it a few years ago
00:16Ariana showed up for her show and not just show up
00:19She asked ahead of time if Elvira would comp around 20 tickets for her friends and family
00:25Yes, and so Ariana shows up with the family
00:29Everybody wants a picture with Elvira
00:30So she takes all did all that but when Elvira wanted one photo with Ariana Ariana said I don't do that
00:37I don't do that. So that was the big call-out and Ariana did respond with
00:42What I think she believes was an apology, but it got real shade. Oh
00:48She said I'm disheartened to see this
00:50I actually don't even remember getting the chance to meet you because I had an anxiety
00:55It's already shame one because I had an anxiety attack and to my memory left before the rest of my family
01:01This was around seven years ago at the time. I was really not great with being in public crowds or loud places
01:08Well, but she's the one that asked to be there, right?
01:12Yes, but if I miss remembering this moment, I sincerely apologize for offending you. So
01:18Thank you for being so nice to my mom. She told me how lovely you were
01:22She might have different feelings about that now a too, but I'll talk to her clearly we all have our days
01:29Shade three three sending love always shade for shade shade or I mean all it's missing is bless your heart
01:38If I'm misremembering this I apologize for fending you this is the classic
01:41I'm sorry, if you were offended not sorry what I did offended you like it's fully blaming kind of Elvira in a way
01:48And yeah, though the you know, the same the seven years ago anxiety thing is clearly a reference to the Manchester bomb-eater concert
01:53Which is legit that would maybe explain why she left the show early and didn't stay but it doesn't explain what she didn't take the
01:59Picture when she was backstage that doesn't cover that at all
02:02It doesn't at all and I mean she's standing there a picture takes four seconds
02:06And she's standing there watching Elvira taking one by one with all these pictures with her relatives
02:12And then she's a give me a picture
02:16Imagine what Ariana would have said if she had taken all of her family backstage and asked for pictures followed in a virus head
02:21No, I don't do that. Yeah. No, then she'd be horrible. Yeah, exactly
02:26This is worse, I think I've seen yeah, this is not squashing anything. No and
02:33The feud is still alive your move Elvira. No, you actually what this apology comes across as like, oh Ariana. Do you want to apologize?
02:39Sorry, I don't do
02:43Exactly, right, that's funny. Hey, I'm Jess from Orange County, California and normally I am all for calling out celebrities and holding them accountable
02:52Understanding the intention is not always relevant to the impact that it has on someone when you treat them poorly
02:57However, I do think at this time she was someone who I just experienced significant trauma following the attack at her concert in Manchester
03:04So I feel like for me
03:05It's one of those situations where you can't hold one interaction against her as a whole and it's kind of unfair to bring this to
03:11Seven years later
03:12Not that I necessarily agree with the apology or that I thought it was that sincere
03:16But why is it being brought up now seven years later is my question. Hmm. Okay. I mean, that's the other side of it
03:23You know, I don't think Elvira didn't come out of nowhere. I think someone asked someone about celebrities. Yeah, someone did it
03:29Yeah, and it and she remembered
