When her older sister Jacqueline disappears, Mary Gibson is forced to leave her private school and decides to travel to New York City to look for her. A bit naive and out of her depth, she is not sure how to go about finding her. Eventually she meets Gregory Ward, her sister's husband, and a mysterious psychiatrist, Dr. Louis Judd, who claims to know of Jacqueline's whereabouts. What she doesn't realize is that her sister became involved with devil worshipers who now want to eliminate her for revealing their existence. Written by garykmcd

00:00:30You
00:01:00You
00:01:30Oh
00:02:00I
00:02:17Have a most painful matter to discuss with you Mary
00:02:20Your sister have you heard from her lately? No, mrs. Lewitt. She doesn't write off
00:02:31Have you any other relatives Mary? No, Jacqueline brought me up
00:02:36Somehow I never felt I needed other relatives that makes it all the more difficult
00:02:41Difficult has anything happened to Jacqueline? We don't know Mary. We've been able to get in touch with your sister
00:02:48Sometimes she can be quite careless. Why don't you try mrs. Ready? I've written repeatedly to mrs. Ready
00:02:53She vouchsafes no information whatsoever
00:02:58It is six months Mary since your tuition has been paid
00:03:03Naturally, it's impossible for you to stay on here as a paying pupil
00:03:07Of course, miss Gilchrist and I have talked the matter over
00:03:11You can stay on here and work
00:03:13With the younger children a sort of an assistant teacher, but mrs. Lowood, I can't just stay on here without knowing what's happened to my sister
00:03:22Maybe if I went to New York if I saw mrs. Ready myself, I doubt if you'll get anything out of that woman
00:03:28But if you'd like to try
00:03:31I'll advance you the money to make the trip to New York. Of course my dear
00:03:35If you don't find your sister, you can always come back here
00:03:40Thank you
00:03:43Mary
00:03:51Don't come back
00:03:53No matter if you never find your sister no matter what happens to you. Don't come back
00:04:01My parents died when I was a pupil I left as you are leaving
00:04:05But I didn't have courage

00:05:10But you must know someone who has seen or heard of my sister, I'm afraid not
00:05:19Your sister had many friends, but they were not my friends. I was only the manager for a plan
00:05:32This is ready, there's one thing with Jacqueline gone. How do you carry on the business? What do you do with the receipts?
00:05:38How do you sign the checks? Why Mary? I'm amazed
00:05:42Didn't Jacqueline tell you?
00:05:44She sold the business to me at least eight months ago
00:05:47It's my business now. I didn't know that
00:05:51Yes, and I must say I've done quite well with it. Perhaps even better than Jack
00:05:56There's nothing you can think of old letters
00:05:59Anything that might give me some hint as to where I might find Jacqueline
00:06:03Leave me your address if I find anything I'll get in touch with you. I'm stopping at the Chatsworth. Thank you, my dear

00:14:58Frightening things. I saw a hangman's noose that Jacqueline had hanging
00:15:04Waiting. Well, at least I can explain that

00:16:54I looked it up in a hall of records your sister deeded her the business as an outright gift. Why would mrs. Ready lie to me?
00:17:01That's what I tried to find out. I went to the last side Jesse
00:17:05Use the phony health inspector's badge
00:17:07They let me go through the works all but one room that room was locked
00:17:13I'd like to see the inside of that room. You think my sister is there?

00:17:22Sister you can't just go breaking into places
00:17:24They got a night watchman down there and locks on the door if my sister's in that room
00:17:28It won't make any difference about warrants and things. I want to go there. I don't know if
00:17:32If I want to go with you, I'm not
00:17:42I
00:18:12Which room is it? It's the last door at the end of this hole
00:18:28You scared yes, it's let's get out of here. No
