00:08Yeah, very good. We were back to what I'd consider to be ourselves really. We worked
00:16really hard and that's the starting point for us, full stop, and obviously great for
00:24Toby to come back home and get the winner as well.
00:27Good pressing as well throughout?
00:29Yeah, I think we're very much on the front foot. We've been a little bit tentative, a
00:37little bit passive in recent games and I think tonight we didn't do that. The lads seemed
00:43to almost having a day off Saturday when the game was called off, I think it almost helped
00:48us a little bit. We got some of that sulk out of our system and had a fun session Saturday
01:01and then on to tonight.
01:04Really attacked the game, took it to them in the way of chances in the first half as
01:08well. Was it half-time, was it more the same or any tweaks?
01:13Yeah, quite often the two halves are never the same and we were fully expecting them
01:21to come out and have a good go at us in the second half. We brought the same intensity
01:25I think, although the game got a bit stretched in the second half, which you'd expect. Everybody
01:31played their part today, every single one of the 16 players that we used, all of the
01:40management group, everything. Fantastic all-round, everyone's worked really hard and deserve
01:47the win.
01:48Real team performance, there was no weak link at all, was there?
01:51No, we do talk quite a lot about setting standards and being of a certain standard every week
01:57and if we get probably eight, nine, ten plus players performing to those levels that we
02:05then we would expect to win games and tonight I think that's where we were at. I think we
02:12did do that tonight.
02:14Real bit of quality from Toby for the goal there, getting the ball swiftly.
02:17Yeah, he's got that quality, Tobin. He kept the ball, the ball went into him tight, secured
02:25it, twisted and turned and then generally if he gets in a position where he can finish
02:31he will do. Excellent, really pleased for him, really pleased to have him back and really
02:36pleased that he got a goal.
02:38And Louis Edwards, quite a threat.
02:40Yeah, Louis's energy, let's not take away from the qualities that he's got as well, but his
02:46energy levels are absolutely unreal. He doesn't give anybody a minute's rest and he's been
02:52a real find for us this season, coming on loan for Woken for the season. We're delighted
03:02to have him and he's flourishing and growing all the time and he's been a big asset for
03:11us so far this season.
03:13And getting in front, he's off from there, he kept going, he didn't sit back at all.
03:19Yeah, I think we probably could have passed the ball a bit better and there was generally
03:25the times where we could have played one more pass and we tried to maybe force it a little
03:31bit. We still created opportunities but there were some better opportunities to be had if
03:36we had played that one more pass. So that's something we can learn from and something
03:40we can try and do better next time out.
03:46Yeah, it's really important and we have been shooting too many goals and not scoring enough
03:54so if you're doing both of those things you're not going to win too many games of football.
04:04Yeah, we're ten games in now and we decided we were going to have a review after ten games
04:09and we've got that planned in for this week. See where we are, see what we've won, where
04:14can we improve because at no point you can't stand still otherwise you will end up walking
04:19backwards really or running backwards.
04:26It's been a good start and we've had a little bit of a blip recently but it's still been
04:33a really good start and I'm pretty happy with the points total we've got. We're just going
04:41to keep trying, keep doing all the things we think we're good at.
04:51Yeah, that will be a tough game. They bring their own style and have got some really good
04:59players and we'll have to be ahead again. There's no point in us doing what we did tonight
05:05and then not turning up Saturday. We can't have that.
