This is the moment a palm tree is completely severed as if hit by an axe after a female driver loses control of her car and crashes into it after suddenly appearing from nowhere.
Footage from Patos de Minas, Minas Gerais State, Brazil, shows the 40-year-old woman, identity not disclosed, ploughing straight into a palm tree and ripping it from the ground on 20th October.
Military Police reported that the woman lost control of the vehicle which veered across both lanes, mounted the central reservation, and crashed into the palm tree.
The woman was immediately attended to by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU). She reportedly had no memory of the accident.
