00:00First off, could you introduce yourself please?
00:02So my name's Kelly McGuckin and I'm from Cookstown.
00:04Nice to meet you Kelly. And what's the scariest horror film you've ever seen?
00:07Personally, Terrifier 3.
00:09So I saw it a couple of days ago with my friends and it was literally like
00:13there's too much gore for me and not for me at all.
00:15But it was good, but still not for me.
00:17Are you a horror film fan? Do you watch many horror films?
00:20I would, yes. I do like horror films, romantic films, all that kind of thing.
00:24But this one would have to be the top scariest one for me personally.
00:27And are you dressed up for Halloween this year?
00:29I'm not too sure yet. Still making up trying to find an outfit, but not too sure yet.
00:33Right, so first off, could you introduce yourself please?
00:35Connor. My name's Connor.
00:37Nice to meet you Connor. And what's the scariest horror film you've ever seen?
00:40Probably the best. Not so much the scariest, but the best is probably The Babadook.
00:44And what about that do you particularly like?
00:46It's meditation on grief and the storyline is not always immediately obvious.
00:52But once the narrative progresses, you see what's going on. It's very well done.
00:58And are you a big horror film fan?
00:59Yeah.
01:00Any other particular favourites that come to mind?
01:02The Exorcist because it's a classic. It was the original Possession film and in my opinion it's still the best.
01:08And are you dressed up for Halloween this year?
01:10If I'm off work, yeah.
01:12So could you introduce yourself please?
01:13Hello, I'm Cammie.
01:15And what's the scariest horror film you've ever seen?
01:18I think the scariest horror film I've ever seen is Saw because it's very gory.
01:22Are you a horror film fan? Do you watch many?
01:24Yeah, I really like them. I've watched a lot coming up to Halloween too.
01:27Have you got any particular favourites? Maybe not the scariest.
01:30Scream. Scream is probably one of my favourites. It's a classic.
01:33And are you dressed up for Halloween this year?
01:35Yeah, I'm dressed up as Catwoman.
01:37Catwoman?
01:38Not very scary but it's pretty cool.
01:40So could you introduce yourself please?
01:41Hi, my name is Jason.
01:43And what's the scariest horror film you've ever seen or your favourite horror film maybe?
01:47Probably one of them Insidious ones. They've been out for a while now, Insidious.
01:52What do you think about Insidious films? Like some of the scariest films?
01:56I think it's more the paranormal part of it. You can't physically see what it is that's there.
02:02I think that's probably what scares most people.
02:04And are you a horror film fan? Do you watch many horror films?
02:06I've watched every one of them. I've watched lots of them.
02:09But again, they're not horrors, they're just movies.
02:12Any other particular favourites that come to mind?
02:14Cabin in the Woods. It's a funny one. It's a funny horror movie.
02:19What's that other one? There's quite a few. They don't even come to mind now.
02:28Exorcism of Emily Rose and stuff like that. Those kind of ones, yeah.
02:33And are you dressed up for Halloween this year?
02:35It depends on my daughter. I might do Betelgeuse.
02:42Could you introduce yourself please?
02:43My name is Sarim. I'm 18 years old and I go to university here.
02:49And what's the scariest horror film you've ever seen?
02:54Probably Dubby. It's a Turkish horror film.
02:57What is it?
02:58Dubby.
03:00And what about that is particularly scary?
03:02It's like, on a religious point of view, it's very scary in my opinion.
03:08And just the way it's filmed, it's filmed in a documentary type of video.
03:12So that just makes it scarier for me.
03:16And are you dressed up for Halloween this year?
03:18No.
03:19Are you a horror film fan? Do you watch a lot of horror films?
03:21Yeah, I do.
03:22Do you have any other particular favourites from the night?
03:25Probably The Conjuring Trilogy or anything from those movies.
03:30Annabelle, The Conjuring. All of those are good.
03:33Perfect.
03:34Could you introduce yourself please?
03:35Sarim.
03:37And what's the scariest horror film you've ever seen?
03:39Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. But I don't really find it scary. I just enjoy it.
03:43You just enjoy the film?
03:44Yeah.
03:45And what do you think makes that film particularly scary?
03:48Well, I know the, what do you call it, the backtracks and stuff.
03:51Where the comedic kind of false suspense and kind of what's going to happen next and stuff.
03:56It's classic because it's black and white so you don't have to really worry about what colours you're seeing and stuff like that.
04:02And are you a very horror film fan? Do you watch a lot?
04:05I do like horror but it's all getting a bit unpredictable now.
04:09I only find one that's going to give me a good scare.
04:12And are you dressed up for Halloween this year?
04:14Nah, me and the Wayne's are aye.
04:16What are his dress up as?
04:18We're all dressed up as a thing.
04:22So it's not really scary. It's more for the Wayne's look.
04:24So the Wayne's are, she's doing Jake the Dog.
04:27Melody goes doing, playing princess.
04:30The weeest one's doing the wee computer beemo.
04:33And then fella is doing funly human.
04:37And then you get one when you're doing princess.
04:39Oh god.
04:41So, I wish it would make you cry.
04:46Introduce yourself please.
04:47Cormac Morris.
04:49And can you tell me what's the scariest horror film you've ever seen?
04:53That's a good question.
04:55Um, probably IT.
04:58IT? What's scary to you? Is it the clown?
05:02Probably the clown, yeah.
05:04And are you a big horror film fan? Do you watch a lot of horror films?
05:07I wouldn't watch too many now myself.
05:08But my brother and sister would be very big into it now.
05:13And are you dressed up for Halloween this year?
05:15Nah.
05:17That's not exactly my thing, dressing up and all.
05:20I like the holiday, you know what I mean.
05:23It wouldn't be a big dress up for a flick.
05:27Jim Craig.
05:28And Jim, what's the scariest horror film you've ever seen?
05:31Hitchcock, The Birds.
05:33And what about that's particularly scary?
05:38Well, if you play around here, and all those pigeons coming, that can be scary.
05:43It's a flashback, really terrifying.
05:46And are you a fan of horror films? Do you watch them?
05:48Not particularly, no.
05:49That's it? Perfect.
