Governor Tim Walz was back in Minnesota on Wednesday to early-vote in the 2024 Election as a candidate for Vice President, and spoke about former President Donald Trump's ex-Chief of Staff John Kelly's comments about Trump wanting to be a dictator, why voting is important in this election and says "Putin wants Donald Trump to win."

00:22Super exciting, cast my vote for Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Betty McCollum, and to have
00:28my son with me, Gus, to vote for the first time.
00:32Exciting an opportunity to turn the page on the chaos of Donald Trump and a new way forward.
00:37And I think for many of us, the last 24 hours certainly have been a bit shaking with the
00:42reporting coming out in the Atlantic.
00:44Donald Trump's dissension into madness and John Kelly's, who I thank for showing the
00:51courage to come forward, truly telling the world, those closest to Donald Trump know
00:56how dangerous he is.
00:59The desire of Donald Trump to wish he had generals like Adolf Hitler had, Mark Milley's
01:07as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, talking about he's the most dangerous person
01:11that he's ever encountered.
01:13And it goes on and on and on with people around him.
01:16Look, Donald Trump made it very clear that this is an election about Donald Trump taking
01:21full control of the military to use against his political enemies, taking full control
01:25of the Department of Justice to prosecute those who disagree with him, taking full control
01:30of the media on what is told and what is told to the American public.
01:35And the opportunity here and the absolute requirement of Americans is to understand
01:40that this rhetoric has not been used in this country, certainly not by a party's presidential
01:46nominee.
01:48And the opportunity here is to elect Kamala Harris, who's made it clear she stands with
01:52the people.
01:53She stands with the Constitution.
01:55As John Kelly said, Donald Trump doesn't understand the Constitution, nor does he respect
02:00the rule of law.
02:01If there was ever a red line, he has stepped across it.
02:06And so I appreciate General Kelly coming out at this moment.
02:11I ask the American public, go look, go see what he's saying and watch this dissension
02:15and get the opportunity.

02:46I think as a state and things we've talked about, advancements of child care, I'm really
02:50excited about what we've done at the state level on that and more that can be done.
