00:00I have an incredible collection of...
00:02I actually know what your most incredible collection of is,
00:04but it's not safe for this conversation, so...
00:06Um...
00:07I want to play this game just in regular life.
00:14Hi, my name is Kirsten Bangsness.
00:15And...
00:16Aisha Tyler, and...
00:17We are playing How Well Do You Know Your Co-Star?
00:19with Marie Claire.
00:20My favorite movie ever is...
00:23A. Ghostbusters 2
00:26B. Rushmore
00:29Or C. Undercover Brother
00:34Oh my god, I'm already so delighted by this.
00:37That's a really tough one.
00:39But Ghostbusters 2 is not a good film.
00:41And Rushmore is like...
00:44You know...
00:45A great film.
00:46But just feels a little twee for you,
00:48so I'm gonna go Undercover Brother.
00:53You are...
00:54It's very close and it makes sense.
00:55You are wrong.
00:56It is the top three.
00:57It's the top three.
00:58So it was difficult.
00:59It was difficult.
01:00But Rushmore is what the inside of my brain looks like
01:04on a very good day.
01:05It is my favorite movie.
01:06My first job was...
01:08Selling Red Delicious apples at a flea market.
01:11Selling amps to forlorn dads at Pacific Stereo.
01:15Or as backup singer for Bay Area Supergroup,
01:18Tony, Tony, Tony.
01:19This is tricky, because you could do any of those.
01:22Very, very tricky.
01:24I want it to be three really badly.
01:26It's not three.
01:27It was amps.
01:28Dammit.
01:30All of these things also had some basis in truth.
01:33I definitely was not a backup singer for Bay Area Supergroup,
01:35Tony, Tony, Tony.
01:36I did hang out in a Pacific Stereo quite a bit
01:39when I was a kid,
01:40because it was right next to my apartment building.
01:42And so, inadvertently, I might have been persuasive.
01:45But I sold apples at the flea market.
01:47I had a little stand when I was five.
01:49And I sold them for a quarter.
01:53I have an incredible collection of A, band pins,
01:56B, stickers, or C, cat toys.
01:59D, all of the above.
02:01Incredible.
02:02Oh, man.
02:03Stickers, band pins, or cat toys.
02:06Oh!
02:08This is so hard!
02:11I've never seen any of your band pins.
02:13I know you have a lot of band pins,
02:14but I don't feel like I've seen this collection.
02:16You do have an insane number of cat toys.
02:18I actually know what your most incredible collection of is,
02:20but it's not safe for this conversation.
02:23Cat toys?
02:25Band pins.
02:26But, like, you can't walk around with, like...
02:27I've never seen a band pin!
02:28Not one band pin.
02:29You just don't look.
02:30They're always on a jacket.
02:32I've got, like, every band we've mentioned, I have.
02:35Including, like, random Saturday Night Live spoof bands
02:38that don't exist.
02:39My first concert was A, Tracy Chapman and the Indigo Girls,
02:44B, Prince and Vanity Six,
02:47or C, The Scorpions and Bon Jovi.
02:50Oh!
02:52Oh!
02:53I know for a fact
02:56that it has got to be...
02:59It's either B or C,
03:00and I'm gonna just lean into my hope and say B.
03:05I really wish I'd seen Prince and Vanity Six in concert.
03:07That would be a great show.
03:08I loved Prince.
03:09You saw Scorpion.
03:10You did.
03:11I saw The Scorpions.
03:12I saw The Scorpions and Bon Jovi.
03:15My first concert was
03:17A, David Bowie,
03:20B, Whitney Houston,
03:22or C, Duran Duran.
03:25Man, this is such a hard one
03:26because I know that you are a big fan of all those people.
03:28I'm gonna say Duran Duran.
03:29I know you love Duran Duran.
03:30I know you recently seen Duran Duran.
03:32That was my third concert.
03:33Duran Duran was my third concert,
03:34Whitney Houston was my second concert.
03:36My first concert was David Bowie with Suzy and the Banshees.
03:40Oh, that's amazing.
03:41Oh, I'm very jealous.
03:42I'm very, very jealous of you.
03:43I'm jealous of you.
03:44I once traveled to which country
03:45for the sole purpose of eating in a restaurant?
03:48A, France,
03:50B, Ireland,
03:52C, Sweden.
03:54Sweden.
03:55Yeah, damn it all.
03:57Yeah, you didn't know that one.
03:58I wanna play this game just in regular life.
04:01You went there and you ate like organ meats.
04:03Yes, pigeon liver, tiny little pigeon livers
04:06and like weird fermented things.
04:08My first job was at A,
04:11the school library.
04:13B, Fabrics and Things
04:16or C, Hoff's Hut restaurant hostess.
04:20Damn it all to hell.
04:24I wanted to be Fabrics and Things.
04:26I just wanted to be Fabrics and Things
04:28because you're a very crafty person.
04:30Even though it's probably not the answer,
04:31I'm gonna stick with it.
04:32I'm getting a lot of nods out of you.
04:33I loved the ribbon so much
04:35and I was so bad at it that when I would cut fabric,
04:38you'd get an extra like two feet
04:40because I just couldn't keep it straight.
04:42Which is an analogy for the rest of my life.
04:44I just couldn't keep it straight.
04:46So yes, it was Fabrics and Things.
04:48Oh my God, I can't believe I got that right.
04:49I have a tattoo of a constellation.
04:53Is it A, Virgo,
04:55B, Cassiopeia
04:57or C, Ursa Major?
05:01I think it's Cassiopeia.
05:03That's a really good guess.
05:05It's Ursa Major.
05:06Incorrect.
05:07It's Ursa Major.
05:08It's Ursa Major.
05:09Damn it.
05:11Damn it.
05:12I really hate
05:14A, carrots,
05:15B, truffles
05:17or C, sparkling water.
05:20I'm gonna go with truffles.
05:22I have a gag reflex to carrots.
05:24Raw carrots.
05:25Really?
05:26I can have roasted carrots.
05:27I go on a mission to try to eat carrots
05:29but actually like raw carrots
05:31like make me like...
05:33I absolve you from any feeling of obligation
05:36to ever eat carrots.
05:37I don't know why you're on a mission to eat carrots.
05:38I feel like there are other vegetables
05:39in the vegetable kingdom.
05:40Did you see my iClass description?
05:42It's too late, Kirsten.
05:45My favorite food is
05:49A, pasta,
05:50B, french fries,
05:51C, wine,
05:52which I consider a food.
05:54Why?
05:57Pasta.
05:58Because it's definitely french fries.
05:59It is?
06:00It's french fries, yes.
06:01I didn't know that.
06:02To the point that
06:03if you order french fries
06:04and you look away,
06:05you will not have any french fries
06:06if I'm at the table.
06:07It's like a compulsion.
06:09We had all been talking and interacting
06:10and going out to dinner
06:11and doing all kinds of stuff
06:12while the show was away.
06:14But I just think everybody just came back
06:16like super fired up,
06:18even better at our jobs
06:20than we were before
06:21and with this just joyfulness
06:23of like we can't believe
06:25we get a second bite at this Apple.
06:27So it's just been really easy
06:30and fun and electric
06:31and then it went really fast.
06:33It was this weird mix of like new
06:36but I know this,
06:37but you feel so completely safe
06:39with the people you're with.
06:40So for me,
06:42it just felt like that
06:44because it is a different show,
06:46but it's the same show.
06:47We have a lady event.
06:49We do a lady event.
06:50Only.
06:51It's called Hot Tub Wine Machine
06:54and essentially it's just four girls
06:56drinking wine in a hot tub
06:57for a very long time.
06:58It's awesome.
06:59We've sat in that,
07:00which this I think is unusual
07:02in Hollywood in general.
07:03We've sat there and been like
07:04how much do you get paid?
07:05How much do you get paid?
07:06We are girls girls
07:07and that is very important to me
07:09and it's a value I hold
07:11and I know Aisha holds the same
07:13and like we all hold that.
07:15So it's a really affirming place
07:17to be a lady.
07:18This has been Aisha Tyler and
07:20Kirsten Bengistus
07:21from Criminal Minds Evolution,
07:22which is streaming right now
07:24on Paramount+.
07:25And be sure to subscribe
07:27to Marie Claire.
