00:17that gave viewers an up-close and personal look inside their marriage. Nearly overnight,
00:22the married couple amassed a huge fan base, and just like that, everyone was in their
00:26Jason and Kylie era.

00:31The story goes that Jason first met Kylie on the popular dating app Tinder, and Kylie
00:36and her friends were certain that she was being catfished. After realizing that Jason
00:40looked familiar, the group did some internet sleuthing only to realize that the picture
00:44was that of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. Real or not, her interest was piqued
00:49and she resolved to meet the potential catfish when he asked her to come to a bar.
00:53As luck would have it, Kylie was not being catfished. When she arrived at the establishment,
00:58Jason was there in the flesh, and he was absolutely smitten.
01:01Right away, as soon as she walks through the door, like, most beautiful woman I've ever
01:05seen. Very much, like, that love at first sight."
01:09Unfortunately, all of the butterflies Jason felt upon meeting his future wife weren't
01:14enough to keep him upright and conscious. Prior to meeting Kylie at the bar, he and
01:18the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles players had attended the team's holiday party.
01:22And then, Kelce's like, yeah, I think we're gonna meet up with this girl. And I'm like,
01:25heard all about her. I'm like, excited to meet her. And the night just went a little
01:29bit sideways."
01:30It did.
01:31As Kylie famously revealed on Kelce about the dreamy date, Jason fell asleep at the
01:35bar about 45 minutes into their meeting before being carried out. During another episode
01:40of the New Heights podcast, Kylie elaborated, explaining,
01:44"[Bo Ellen accomplished the most impressive physical feat of his life when he fireman
01:48carried Jason back to his apartment. While Jason admitted it wasn't the best first impression,
01:54he was determined to have a do-over. After their second date, the pair were inseparable
01:59and the rest is simply history, with Jason declaring,
02:02"'Second date went much better. I didn't black out or fall asleep.'"
02:06True to form, Jason's engagement to Kylie wasn't very romantic, either. During an episode
02:11of New Heights, Jason revealed that he had initially wanted to propose before training
02:16camp, so scheduling may have played a part in the proposal being a bit lackluster. Nevertheless,
02:20he stayed the course.
02:22After a visit with Kylie's parents and getting their dog back in the car to drive 30 minutes
02:26home, Jason was left floundering for a reason to go back in the house and ask Kylie's dad
02:31for her hand in marriage. That's when he devised the great bathroom plan, revealing,
02:35So, when we got in the car, I said,
02:38"'Man, Kai, I'm sorry, but I gotta take a s---- right now.'"
02:41It's safe to say that Kylie was annoyed when Jason returned merely two minutes later from
02:45his supposed bathroom break. Kylie started to scold him to go back in and finish his
02:50business, and that's when Jason went for it.
02:52And then he said,
02:53This is not the most romantic way to do this, but can you get out of the truck?"
02:58Things got even weirder when Jason opted to gift his wife with a sword to commemorate
03:02their sixth year of marriage. During an episode of New Heights, Jason lamented that he was
03:07nearly a month late on Kylie's anniversary gift. He then explained to his brother Travis
03:11that it's customary to bestow your spouse with something made of iron on the sixth wedding
03:16anniversary. That's when Travis came up with the bright idea to have a sword made for Kylie.
03:21Jason initially rebuffed the idea, but eventually, the idea grew on him. Fast forward to the
03:26following episode, and Jason had an update for everyone. Kylie was the proud owner of
03:31a shiny new sword.
03:32We got the sword. Kylie loves it.
