00:00Residents of several barangays in Casiguran, Aurora have fled.
00:04Let's update on the latest on the spot of Katrina Sun.

00:13Rafi, we are experiencing heavy rainfall in the town of Casiguran, Aurora.
00:19And because of that, some places were flooded.
00:22It's past 8 o'clock at night when it started to rain heavily here in Casiguran, Aurora.
00:31Aside from the heavy rain, the wind was also very strong.
00:35That's why even though it's already night, the number of people who fled to evacuation sites continues to rise.
00:41As of 6 a.m. earlier, 22 out of 24 barangays in Casiguran have fled.
00:48It reached 503 families of 1,525 individuals.
00:53There are 342 families or 115 individuals who are outside evacuation
00:59or those who are sleeping or those who are with relatives or acquaintances.
01:04Because of the continuous rain, some places were flooded.
01:08That includes Barangay Marikit, Barangay Tinib, and Barangay Calientes, Puruxinco.
01:14Here, some residents chose to stay in their homes.
01:18They need to take care of their belongings.
01:21As for Barangay Esperanza, it's already isolated and can only be passed by a truck.
01:26Because of the heavy rain on the roads here, they were the first ones to bring relief goods.
01:33The people here were forced to cross the river.
01:36The river also flooded here and reached the road.
01:39The reason why some cows died and drowned.
01:45We will not leave until the flood is over.
01:49We have things to carry as far as we can.
01:57Most of the time, it rains here.
02:00But because of the heavy rain in the mountains,
02:03when it rains, our rivers also rise.
02:07Raffy, the MDRRMO is calling for the evacuees to not return to their homes,
02:21especially to the high-rises.
