00:00Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers is now dealing with the hamstring issue that it flared up during
00:09the Jets 37 to 15 defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday evening.
00:16So the hits just keep coming for the New York Jets.
00:19This was, I believe, Per Sports Illustrated.
00:22So what do you believe about that now?
00:25Is this going to be the excuse why Rodgers can't lead the team back to a playoff run
00:30because now multiple injuries?
00:32This team and this organization are a complete train wreck.
00:36I've said it time and time again.
00:38I never bought into Aaron Rodgers and the Jets when he was healthy.
00:42I thought they were a seven-win football team at best.
00:44And now with only two wins in the 2024 season, they're gutless as far as I'm concerned.
00:51902 wins, though.
00:52They've only scored, it's either two or three more points than what they did after seven
00:58games last year with Zach Wilson as quarterback.
01:01Heading into this week, it was the exact same.
01:04I think they scored three more this week than what the Jets scored in week number seven
01:07last week.
01:08So it's basically identical.
01:10With Rodgers back and Adams in there and this and that, it's the same old Jets.
01:15It really is, right?
01:16So I'll tell you what, and we're laughing at it, but I'm serious.
01:20If they offer you props on Aaron Rodgers, I would be betting the unders.
01:25I said this earlier with Ben yesterday.
01:26He's not going to last the season, Joe.
01:28He's getting killed back there.
01:29He can't move.
01:30The offensive line stinks, and he's not getting out of the way of all these shots.
01:35Give him credit.
01:36Knock on wood, he's actually getting up.
01:38But boy, after every hit, he's getting up slower and slower and slower.
01:42I'm not surprised about the hamstring injury.
01:44There's going to be something.
01:45He's going to get hurt again.
01:46It's only a matter of time.
01:48So if you want to take advantage of that situation, bet under passing yards,
01:52bet under touchdown, whatever they give you.
01:55I wouldn't necessarily bet under on the team total, though, Joe, because, you know,
01:59maybe the back will come in and actually do better than Aaron Rodgers.
02:02Sometimes it's just by subtraction.
02:04Yeah, you know, he's not too bad, right?
02:07He's not awful awful.
02:08So, no, but here's the problem, Scott, and I hate to keep banging this drum,
02:15but who's running the organization?
02:17Is it Ulbrich, you know, or is it, in fact, Aaron Rodgers?
02:21You can't tell me that the Devontae Adams move wasn't all Aaron Rodgers.
02:25You know how I know?
02:26Because he couldn't wait to showcase it on Pat McAfee that, you know,
02:29when they coming off a disappointing loss, he couldn't wait to show
02:33that Devontae Adams was in the building like, look, I fixed everything.
02:36Now they lose and get their heads handed to them yet again.
02:40And now all of a sudden he's got injuries, right?
02:43And I've said this at what point?
02:45What is the tipping point for those young players of the team to just say,
02:49you know what, I'm checked out?
02:50Because it happened in Denver, Russell Wilson, when Nate Hackett was coach.
02:54Remember when the offense wasn't helping out the defense and the defense
02:58was keeping them in games time and time again,
03:01to the point where they just collapsed at the end of the regular season?
03:05Well, tell me why the same can't happen for the New York Jets.
03:08And this is the Jets are moving the football,
03:11but the defense now has regressed since Salah left, right?
03:14And now Aaron Rodgers is the only one that basically seems to be running the team.
03:20So who's to say he's not checked out?
03:22And then all the younger players say, you know what?
03:24I have to make a business decision.
