00:00Let's update on the situation in Baguio City. We have first live news with Sandra Ginaldo. Sandra, how are you doing?
00:09Yes, Egan. Here in Baguio City, Egan, the rain is moderate to heavy. It hasn't stopped since last night, but it's getting weaker and stronger.
00:25It's also bringing strong winds. According to Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, there is no sign of a new landslide.
00:36Even though there are signs of landslides in trees that are about to fall, last night, the authorities responded to a landslide in Celestial Village, a residential area on top of a mountain.
00:50The landslide hit a construction site and affected a vacation house in the upper part of the slope of the mountain.
00:57No one was injured in the incident. The landslide covered the land so that it won't soften.
01:04It rained heavily so the LGU continues to monitor the landslide-prone areas, especially the barangays that are located in remote areas.
01:14There is no sign of flooding here. The Kenon Road is still closed, but it's not because of the landslide. If not, it will be under repair before the landslide.
01:26According to the local government, Marcos Highway and Naguilian Road are in good condition and it can be passed. Just be careful when driving.
01:35According to DPWH Cordillera in Binguet, Mountain Province and Calinga, there are roads that are closed or have limited access.
01:46That's why motorists should be careful.
01:49That is the last report from Baguio City. Thank you very much and be careful, Sandra Aguinaldo.
