With the Senedd recently voting against assisted dying, we ask people around Wales whether they agree with the decision.

00:00I think I'd welcome it, yeah. I think it's, you know, it seems a little bit out there,
00:04but I think if you really think about it, why would someone want to continue
00:07suffering? At the end of the day, it's their choice. And I think,
00:12I think most families would respect that too. So yeah, I'm all for it.
00:16It's a tough one because it seems like the kind of issue where anyone who has been through it
00:21has a polarising opinion on it. And when I say be through it, I mean a family member,
00:25someone they know, you know, has been in that position. I think that they have a strong view
00:31on it, whether that's a case of, you know, life is viable and people shouldn't interact, or,
00:36you know, they've seen a loved one going through it and, you know, that they should do something,
00:42you know, the same needs to be done about it. I'm not really sure what the horrible things
00:47would be that they'd be pressured into. I understand, obviously, some parts of it of
00:51and you'd have to go abroad. So your family might not be able to be with you.
00:55Obviously, that's horrible. But I suppose, you know, maybe there's ways around that.
