00:00C-130 was used to deliver relief goods to Albay after the storm Christine.
00:07It will be difficult to deliver aid to some parts of Camarena Sur because of the deep flood in some areas of the country.
00:14From Naga City, Camarena Sur, Saksila, Ian Cruz.
00:19Ian?
00:23Pia, until tonight, the weather here in Naga City is good.
00:27Those stranded vehicles that are stuck in the main roads here
00:33are making it difficult for the rescue teams to reach and deliver aid.
00:38They will try to find a way while the weather continues to get better here.
00:45From San Fernando, we joined the rescue truck of the MMDA Public Safety Division towards Milaur, Camarena Sur.
00:52The roads are full of water.
00:54And when it comes to Tulay, at the top of the Bicol River, it is difficult to cross because of the parked vehicles.
01:02When Tulay is down, the water is even deeper.
01:05Many are walking in the direction of Naga.
01:08Others are all stuck in the mud so that they won't be able to cross in August.
01:12Some are already on the MMDA rescue vehicle and on the Red Cross boat.
01:18The PNP staff is also delivering food to the stranded people.
01:23When it comes to another Tulay, our journey has stopped.
01:26We are near the center of Milaur and we are riding the MMDA rescue boat.
01:31We can see the problem here.
01:32There are many stranded vehicles in this area.
01:35So the vehicles of the MMDA and other NGOs and government agencies cannot continue.
01:42This is one of the big problems that is caused by the fast travel to Naga and other parts of Bicol.
01:49From the rescue truck, we moved to the rubber boat.
01:52The water in the streets of Milaur overflowed.
01:56There are many people on the second floor.
01:57How are you there?
01:58We are fine.
01:59We just need food and water.
02:02They are asking for food and water.
02:05There are many people on the second floor.
02:07They are waiting and hoping that help will come to them.
02:10There are many vehicles that drowned in the water and were stuck in some streets.
02:15That is why they cannot pass through, just like the Maharlika Highway.
02:19It is hard for our vehicles to pass through here.
02:22Even relief goods cannot pass through here.
02:26When it comes to Naga, many people are drowning.
02:30Others are riding the boats that are used in the Fluvial Parade every year in Pena, France.
02:36According to Naga, Siliara-Remo is still flooded in seven barangays.
02:404,000 residents are already in the evacuation center.
02:44The Philippine Army and DPWH will help in clearing the roads
02:49so that the rescue teams and relief goods can enter.
02:53In Lungsod ng Iriga, Waras Bridge was temporarily closed
02:57and it collapsed in Iriga and Bayan ng Baaw.
03:00The bridge was damaged after the ground collapsed due to Hurricane Christine.
03:05In Libon ng Albay, on the left and right were the ruins left by Hurricane Christine,
03:11just like an old garage that collapsed due to flooding.
03:15Along with the water, there were tractors, some vehicles, and some animals that belonged to the owner.
03:20There were also several boats that were swept away by the wind and soil,
03:23after one of the boats sank.
03:26According to Libon LGU, two were seen dead while one was missing there
03:31following a landslide in Barangay Borabod.
03:34The city of Libon was plunged into a state of calamity.
03:38It was the worst flooding in the history of our city of Libon.
03:43There were many people who drowned and lost their homes.
03:48We needed to use floating.
03:51Because the help in their affected area was not enough,
03:54some were able to do bad things just to earn a living.
03:58One night in Naka City, someone attempted to loot a convenience store
04:05because they were chasing food.
04:08That was the main reason for their survival.
04:11That's what our people are waiting for and our law enforcers are watching them.
04:16Earlier this afternoon, the Philippine Air Force boarded the C-130 aircraft
04:21with the relief goods of the DSWD to be delivered to Albay.
04:26It was accompanied by several rubber boats of the Philippine Army
04:29that will be used in the rescue operation in Lalawigan.
04:32The Philippine Air Force was already able to go into Naga and to Legazpi.
04:36And we will continue the air bridge to take advantage of any gaps in the weather now.
04:46According to the DSWD, the LGUs here in Camsur requested new supplies
04:52so that they can be distributed to the affected residents and live from Naga City.
04:58For GMA Integrated News, I am Ian Cruz, your witness.
