00:33Spider-Man Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite
00:37Take your time, we can wait.
00:40Spidey hasn't had too great of a history of having compelling hyper combos.
00:45Previous games would often just load him up with a few level 1 hyper combos and call it
00:49a day, but Infinite finally did our boy some justice, which is one of the very few things
00:55Infinite ever did right.
00:57As he beats the snot out of you, Green Goblin tries to ambush him from off screen, only
01:02for his bombs to hit your opponent instead.
01:05The fact that Spidey even mentions how Norman just vanished before the hyper combo was finished
01:10is icing on the cake.
01:17Phoenix Wright Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
01:28Of the newbies we saw come to UMVC3, Phoenix Wright was the weirdest and goofiest character
01:34on the roster.
01:35No one else fights with finger pointing and stationary like he does, but for fans of Ace
01:40Attorney, his level 3 hyper combo pulled all the right moves.
01:45Yelling objection, presenting random items as evidence, and pointing at his opponent
01:50so sternly they freeze in horror, it's easily one of the best hyper combos you will ever
01:56see in UMVC3.
01:58Assuming you play a good Phoenix Wright to begin with, with all the setup it requires.
02:07Jill Valentine Marvel vs. Capcom 2
02:11New Age of Heroes
02:21It's a real shame that Jill has never hit that same level of creativity as Capcom had
02:25when developing UMVC2.
02:28Really guys, why did we get RE5 Jill for UMVC3?
02:31Come on.
02:32For the most part, Jill can be tricky in landing extensive combos, however one of her level
02:38one hyper combos will make any Resident Evil fan smile.
02:43Jill can somehow summon Nemesis in his T2 form to come in and shred your rival up.
02:50The best part?
02:52If you have one bar left to spare, you can have Jill whip out a rocket launcher and destroy
02:57Nemesis and your opponent will be caught in the explosions.
03:01It's pretty freaking great.
03:03Didn't do much damage, but still really cool.
03:10BB Hood Marvel vs. Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes
03:15Surprisingly, Capcom has shown the Darkstalkers characters more love in MVC than they have
03:30towards the IP as a whole.
03:32Case in point, Baby Bonnie Hood in MVC2.
03:36BB already has some pretty intense level 1 and level 2 hyper combos, but there's one
03:42level 1 hyper combo that is just full on assault.
03:46It's nothing but bullets and explosives that really should just insta-kill your foe.
03:52Psychotic does not even begin to describe this and it only leaves us wanting a brand
03:57new Darkstalkers.
03:59What's taking you so long, Capcom?
04:06Felicia Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
04:15Felicia might be dismissed by some as having a hyper combo that is just pulled from the
04:20Darkstalkers games, however, UMVC 3 did it in such a way that we fell in love with it.
04:26For her level 3 hyper combo, Felicia calls in a bunch of her other sexy cat lady friends
04:32to beat the snot out of you while she sits back and cowardice.
04:36And the way that the final cat lady waves goodbye at the end of the hyper combo is just
04:42way too adorable.
04:44I love this hyper combo.
04:49Captain America and Winter Soldier Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite
05:00Infinite really botched a lot of hyper combos that were pulled from UMVC 3, but once Winter
05:05Soldier was added to the game, Capcom briefly explored an idea that really could have made
05:10Infinite just a little bit better.
05:13If you are using Winter Soldier and Captain America for your team, you have access to
05:18a special version of Winter Soldier's level 3 hyper combo.
05:22The duo will pull off a mashed up version of Final Justice and Unyielding Justice where
05:27Steve is tossing his shield, Bucky is tossing it right back, and the two plow their fists
05:32into your head from both sides.
05:35Think of how many other mashed up hyper combos we could have gotten from this.
05:40Such a missed opportunity Capcom, this was so cool.
05:47Storm Marvel vs. Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes
05:57Now Storm doesn't have a crazy level 3 hyper combo, not even a crazy level 2 hyper combo.
06:03Unfortunately, she is one of the characters that only has like 2 level 1 hyper combos,
06:09but both of them have some really good range and utility.
06:12Her best one though is Hail Storm.
06:16This hyper combo is just obscene in range and damage, and it's perfect in using it
06:20to string or start combos.
06:22It isn't the flashiest, and it doesn't go on for super long, but sometimes the Swiss
06:27Army Knife doesn't need to be bejeweled to hell just to kick your ass.
06:31It's that obnoxious if you're on the receiving end of it.
06:35Wesker Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
06:47Wesker is one of the best characters you can play as in UMVC3 with his incredible speed,
06:51and he has one of the best hyper combos in the game.
06:55Dude really hones in on you, slices you up, and then grabs a missile in the air and tosses
07:01it at you.
07:03Capcom could have easily just done some crazy nonsense with Ouroboros, but this absurdly
07:07explosive finish was enough to make us pause until we stopped laughing.
07:12It's just the perfect amount of ridiculousness for a character like Wesker.
07:21Anarcharis Marvel vs. Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes
07:34Is it crazy to say that Anarcharis might have the best hyper combo in MVC2?
07:39Don't get us wrong, a lot of the MVC2 roster has some great hyper combos that can steal
07:44wins or wield some great utility.
07:46Looking at you, Cable, and your spamming hyper viper cannon.
07:51But Anarcharis can temporarily change the game by turning himself into a boss character.
07:57Our undead pharaoh will fall into the background and allow you to mash buttons to flail his
08:02hands around.
08:03There's just something amusing about watching your enemy get smacked around like a ragdoll.
08:15Deadpool Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Anarcharis might have the best hyper combo
08:27in MVC2, but Deadpool has the best hyper combo in the entire franchise.
08:33He bonks you on the head with his health bar before smacking you into oblivion with his
08:38own meter?
08:39Come on, even if you aren't a Deadpool fan, how can you not laugh at this or even smile
08:45from ear to ear?
08:46It's just so out of pocket, so appropriate for the character, and the most creative hyper
08:53combo Capcom has ever designed.
08:55In that mocking line he utters, chef's kiss.
