One child has died, and another is in a critical condition after a serious crash in South Australia's south-east late yesterday.

00:09Emergency services were called to the Riddick Highway yesterday afternoon after reports
00:13of a three-car crash about five kilometres south of Nenwarri.
00:17Now, St Paul says that a black Holden sedan collided with an EMU.
00:21Luckily, the woman who was driving that vehicle came away without any injuries.
00:25There was a grey Toyota station wagon which braked following that collision and it was
00:31then hit in the rear by a white Nissan Ute.
00:33Now, unfortunately, a five-year-old boy who was an occupant of the Toyota has died while
00:38a 15-year-old girl was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
00:43Now, St Paul says that the driver, who was a 42-year-old man as well as three passengers,
00:48a 46-year-old woman, a 13-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy who were all from Mount Gambier
00:53were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
00:55The driver of the Nissan was a 22-year-old man from Warralong and he was taken to hospital
01:00as a precaution but was without any injuries.
01:03Now, major crash officers attended the scene and the roads have since reopened this morning
01:08and unfortunately this boy's death is the 71st on South Australian roads this year.
